does A-Rod have to pay a percentage of his contract to Scott Boras?

Yes he does. But once he signs this new contract, I don't know if he will have to pay as much to his agent as he usually does, because Boras had absolutly nothing to do with A-Rod getting this contract.

Yes. While this may sound small, many sports agents such as Boras receive 1-3% of their athletes' contracts.

However, when A-Rod signs a 275 million dollar deal... that means millions for Boras.

Being a sports agent is great when you are working with great athletes.
