i suggest asking to go to a game. it's such an amazing experience...omg, you're such a huge fan, you really deserve to go.
and yeah, that's intense....lots of money. so try to save up and then tell your parents that you'll pay x amount of dollars and that you really really want this. then go on to say things like "i wont ask for [whatever other things] and whenever i do, just remind me i wanna go to a Yankee game"

or even
if you don't wanna pay lots, go to a Yankees away game. like whenever they play in your area.

soooo good luck!

You can't go wrong with Yankees tickets. However, if you can't get that, you can ask for the Yankees Fall Classic DVD set. I happen to have it. You get 5 complete games, 1 for each of the Yankees World Series appearances from 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001. There is also extras as well. They have clips of Clemens striking out 15 against the Mariners in the 2000 A.L.D.S., the last three outs of Dwight Gooden's no-hitter, David Wells, and David Cone's perfect games. There is also a clip of Derek Jeter's flip play against the A's in the 2001 A.L.C.S., and the official World Series films from 1996, 1998, 1999, and 2000. And, there are even more extras. I don't know if you seen these games and moments, but if you are a Yankee fan, you should enjoy it, I know I enjoy it. There are also stats on the DVD sleeves as well. So, it is up to you, but you can't go wrong with my suggestion.

A visit to Yankee Stadium is awesome. When I was a teen, bleacher seats were 50 cents and box seats $3.50. But now with exploding salaries they are much higher. My wife and I sat in the nosebleed section behind home plate in 2000 for, I believe, $32 each. A stroll through Monument Park is really cool.

Tickets aren't that much. Bleacher seats run around $12. You can even get mid level 1st and 3rd base side seats for around $30-40 each. That's just as much as a couple of shirts. Take the tickets!!

Edit: Chipmaker there are 82 chances to see a game at Yankee Stadium as the All Star game is there next year. Plus at least 2 playoff games.

Shirts come and go.

There's only 81 chances left to see a game at Yankee Stadium.

Yes, c$not, I know about the 2008 All-Star Game, but it seemed to be unattainable, given the poster's considerable desperation over affording merely a regular season game. Besides, the All-Star Game may be in Yankee Stadium, but it is not a Yankees game.

And there could be as many as 11 postseason games, but as there is no guarantee of ANY, and much the same fiscal constraints apply in October as to the ASG, it seemed not worth mentioning. Now at least one of you say goodnight, Sybil. It is past your bedtime.

Ask for a Red Sox team picture. Go with the best team of the 21st century.
