Popular opinion says it'll be Rollins or Holliday, though I could see someone else sneaking up behind them.
I'm backing Rollins. I think he put together JUST the right mix of statistics and narrative impact (leader of the 2007 Phightin' Phils, etc.) to sway enough votes.

Matt Holiday should win the NL MVP award. He was the key to the Colorado Rockies. If you take him off the team then they finish dead last. Others who could receive attention:
Jimmy Rollins but toward the end of the year Howard was key so Rollins wasn't a full year MVP
Jose Reyes could get some votes because on base and at the plate and in the field he was the most valuable.
Prince Fielder was the most dominant player in the NL this year. The powers that be do like big numbers and can give him some points due to his big season and leading the Brewers to first place in their division for most of the year until the end.
Eric Byrnes was the fire behind the D'Backs. He won't get much attention due to his lack of numbers even though he did hit 20 homers and steal 50 bases.

I think Matt Holliday is going to take the title of NL MVP. He was a phenominal player for the Rockies throughout the season and, though they didn't win, he contributed a lot to the World Series.

i imagine the MVPs are already settled. no human being is taking it remote from Pujols interior the NL, and no human being is taking it remote from Mauer interior the AL. interior the Cy youthful race, I also imagine that it really is between timber worker and Lincecum for the NL. notwithstanding, Carp is thrashing him in both wins and era... Lincecum is in difficulty-free words most appropriate in ok's. interior the AL, do not count number out Greinke. he's statistically better (by ability of a lengthy shot even) than Sabathia in each and every class except for wins. Verlander is in difficulty-free words most appropriate him in ok's and Wins... i imagine Greinke takes this one abode. thinking his scoreless streak to start up the twelve months, and his dominating 6 complete video games (3 of them shutouts), that's a shoe-in for the KC Ace.

should be (but wont be) Albert Pujols. The Cards Ace went down, their 3rd Basemen was hurt, Edmonds didn't show up, Kip Wells was the most overpayed pitcher in the MLB. And the cards still fell just 4 games short.
That happens to 95% of teams they will lose 100 games but Pujols kept the cards afloat with great play.

Unlike the AL there is no clear cut winner, but I would say the order from most to least deserving (although they all had great years) would be:
Matt Holliday
Jimmy Rollins
Prince Fielder
