Big time difference! Aluminum bats will dent easier with cheaper materials, thus weakening the bat. You can also hit the ball further with the better bats, from 10 to 50 feet further. If your talking about wood, then your talking Ash wood or more expensive Maple wood. Pros use maple, theirs your answer for that.

Ya, there is a huge difference sometimes. Usually the cheaper bats aren't made as well therefore they don't hit as well

what kind of bat? composite, or aluminum? i play softball, makes a huge difference i think. composite is the best i think but there are some decent aluminum bats out there too!
