Okay I used to be a die hard Yankees fan who sort of gave up on this team due to their stupidity in signing in my opinion guys who are bums such as A-Rod and Jason Giambi. Anyway even though I've started rooting for teams such as the New York Mets and Cleveland Indians, and Colorado Rockies and a couple of other teams there's a part of me deep in my heart that roots for the Yankees to succeed although I have a hard time rooting for them due to the players that they have added over the years. In my mind guys like A-Rod, Giambi, Matsui, and a few others aren't true Yankees such as Paul O'Neill, and Donny Baseball, and Scott Brosius and Tino Martinez, and Jim Leyritz, and Jeter, and Bernie, and Mo Rivera, and the rest of the guys. So would that still mena that I am a Yankees fan at heart perhaps a disgruntled fan? What's your take on the situation? Would I be welcomed back if I were to be a Yankees fan again through all the stupidity or am I a disgrace?

I live in Boston and love all my teams. I was looking at some questions on Answers about Boston Sports and i couldnt believe all the bad things people were saying just because nearly all our team were winning. Before people liked us because we were the "lovable losers" who couldnt get a break. And now that we are dominant in nearly all the sports with the Sox winning the world series, Pats 10-0, Celtics 8-1, and Bruines.... well they are doing ok. Suddenly everyone hates us and i dont get. i dont see why people are so jealous of us and have bad things to say.

I was just thinking about the Dane Cook there's only one October commercial. And I was curious as to what everyone's favorite baseball commercial was...the Wheaties one where the guys act out the Gibson homerun I thought was decent, but my favorite of all time was Maddux and Glavine's, 'Chicks dig the long ball'
What does everyone else think?

My pick would be Derek Jeter.

I don't know about you, but I'm getting pretty annoyed with all the questions about "who's your favorite person here", "who's your least favorite", etc. True, it's better than all the Barry Bonds and A-Rod questions, but come on, guys! Who cares if it's the offseason or not, there are still lots of things about baseball to talk about. We don't need to constantly bash each other or choose favorites here.

I mean, doesn't this section sometimes remind you of middle school (or high school, but I haven't gotten there yet)? People are always "gossiping" by posting questions about who hates who, and so forth.

Does anyone agree with me?

it doesn't have to be one you've been to before. if you have more than one favorite, list them all! :)

also, say which one you favor least.

my favorite: u.s cellular (white sox) it has a gorgeous view of the chicago skyline.
my least favorite: the houston astros park. i don't like the centerfield mount they have goin on in there.

Every Thanksgiving, I make a list of what I'm thankful for and of course baseball is always on the list!

There's so many things about baseball to be thankful for...the feeling you get when you're at a game rooting for your team, the happiness you feel when your team wins a game, all the players who have played the game right and made baseball what it is today...& so much more.

So, baseball fans, why are YOU thankful for baseball?

Happy Thanksgiving!

The problem seems to be that we have now been invaded by so many immature, unknowledgeable, hateful individuals, who are hell bent on ruining this website for eveyone else. There are copycats, racists, stalkers, and extremely poor comdians who feel that it is necessary to make a mockery of this site. I'd like your opinions and if you agree star my question. What can we do to correct the problem?
