good but not as great

I always thought he was a pretty good defensive catcher from the time's I've seen him play against the RED SOX in the AL. It seemed like he had a bad year last year, all around (A's & CUBS) but I always thought he was a great catcher and a really good contact hitter. I think the Brewers got a good player. In my opinion, I wouldn't have been disapointed if the RED SOX picked him up either. He is getting older though.

Kendall is especially subpar at throwing out runners trying to steal, and an average defensive catcher at best, at this point in his career. Injuries & time have taken their toll on one of the better catchers of the last 15 years.

Benjie Molina isn't going everywhere and neither are lots of the forged catchers in baseball. The Cubs made a deal for the proper catcher obtainable to them as we communicate and it purely value them a pair opportunities. Atleast Kendall has adventure and has been in a pennant race earlier. he's an outstanding solid catcher and could do the job behind the plate for the Cubbies.

Actually, I think he threw 2 runners out trying to steal....out of like 40 attempts since coming over to the Cubs. I can't wait till the Cubs play the Brewers next year. Theriot, Soriano, Pie, Lee, I expect all of them to be running when ever they get on base. Maybe even DeRosa and Murton can pick up a steal or two against Kendall.

Look, he is a ok devensive catvher but cannat throw out anyone. He'll help the brewers because he is a veteran and he knows the game.

His best years are behind him. He can call a decent game, is an average fielder, but he has no arm. He also is an average hitter with no power.

OMFG HE IS HORRIBLE! DUDE I'M A CUBS FAN AND KENDALL WAS HORRIBLE AT CATCHING FOR US THIS YEAR AND HE CAN'T THROW OUT ANY DAMN RUNNERS AT ALL! HE WAS A DECENT HITTER THIS YEAR, STILL GETS LOTS OF WALKS, BUT HE KEEPS ON GETTING WORSE AND WORSE EVERY YEAR! POINT IS HE SUCKS
Well, I'm happy the brewers got him cuz now they'll suck even more next year[also cuz the got a pitcher on steriods]

Kendall's strength is not his arm or his bat anymore. His strength's is his abiltity to call game's for his pitcher.
