Because of everything that has happened thus for regarding steroids, HGH and other performance enhancing drugs, etc., the definition of "shocked" takes on a new meaning. That said, if I had to choose one, it would have to be Greg Maddux. He doesn't look like he has lifted a weight in his life.

i would like to rephrase the question Which player would shock you if his name was not on the Mitchell list of players who used steroids or performance Enhancers??
come on lets get real here, each and every decade there is a (lets just call it) a Miracle drug that helps these Major Leaguers perform at this level for 162 games year after year. In the 60's there is Roger Maris hitting 61 homers in 61' (and his hair falling out in clumps) and then he is out of Baseball less then 8 years later ?? How bout them 70's WOW we have testimony that players used illegal Drugs and Greenies to help there bodies recuperate during the dog days of summer. Then there are the 80's and all those lost talents does anyone remember the names of Doc Gooden, Darly Strawberry, Steve Howe.........just to name a few.....The 90's we saw more then a few stars careers end earlier then they should have ???? Now we have the Steroid Era !!!!!!!!! Wow who would have thought Barry Bonds, Rafeal Palmeiro, Sammy Sosa, Mark McGwire et al. and all this time we thought the ball was juiced LOL.........get over it......every last one of them is guilty until proved innocent, its just the American way.....If i played MLB, NFL or NBA i would have to take something to stay one step ahead of the competition. i dont want to lose all my Millions.

I wouldn't be surprised by anyone, but more importantly, I want to know why the government is targeting Barry Bonds, but not moving on Jason Grimsley, Troy Glaus, and others who have been caught with their hands in the cookie jar???Why hasn't Bud Selig moved on Troy Glaus??? He IS still a major- league player, isn't he??? And when people say that NO player from the steroid era should be elected to the hall of fame on the first ballot, do you think they really mean it? Gwynn, Ripken, Ryan,.....sorry guys, you played at the wrong time....I just love how Selig, the owners, et al. feign ignorance of the problem....Who really believed that David Segui wasn't
on the juice? The guy looked like Triple H as soon as he got to Seattle.....Sure looked alot different than the scrawny pipsqueak he was in Baltimore....Oh well, the Orioles got him back....How did that one turn out again,Peter???Leave baseball decisions to baseball people!!!!! Better yet, have mercy and sell the team to someone else...It doesn't really matter who....Anyone would be a welcome change....Maybe they'll show some interest in restoring a proud franchise to its former glory.........Or at least try to prevent becoming cellar dwellers. Last word....Aubrey Huff....To quote Extreme....If you
don't like, what you see here........get the **** out.

Grady Sizemore
CC Sabathia
Casey Blake
the biggest shock would be Grady Sizemore. He plays hard and maintains an image as clean as grandma and apple pie. I think anyone in Cleveland would be completely stunned if Grady Sizemore showed up on that list. He makes such superb defensive plays - they had a bobble promo of him as Superman, cape and everything. No - Grady cannot - and must not - appear on that list. I was surprised about Byrd but Sizemore would just take it over the edge.

I don't think I'd really be surprised to see anyone's name on the list. Unless it's someone the size of Ichiro or something. But let's face it, a good chunk of players were probably hitting the juice before it became a huge scandal. I'm almost positive I'm going to see Jeff Bagwell, one of the most memorable players for the Astros, on that list. I hope I'm wrong, though.

Haha. Just kidding. It would probably be a guy like Ichiro, Derek Jeter, or any of those speedy guys who don't look like they're using anything
