I live in Boston and love all my teams. I was looking at some questions on Answers about Boston Sports and i couldnt believe all the bad things people were saying just because nearly all our team were winning. Before people liked us because we were the "lovable losers" who couldnt get a break. And now that we are dominant in nearly all the sports with the Sox winning the world series, Pats 10-0, Celtics 8-1, and Bruines.... well they are doing ok. Suddenly everyone hates us and i dont get. i dont see why people are so jealous of us and have bad things to say.

It's not everyone, just a select few. Pity parties like this don't help your cause, though, and will just annoy more people.

Real fans appreciate how good you guys have it right now.

I don't hate Boston teams, except the Red Sox but I hate the arrogant fans. I admit Pats are 10-0 but some are saying they should be given the Super Bowl Trophy & that they are going 16-0 & 19-0 after the Super Bowl, Celtics start 8-0, but how many more games are there about 70+. Before trash talking about going 16-0, win the next 6 games one at a time & then after they win each week, then talk about that game & not the rest of the games left in the season. If Pats go 16-0 & then lose first play-off game & anything is possible, will the 16-0 record really mean much? Pats are team to beat no doubt but don't count your chickens before they are hatched. I don't think people are jealous of Boston teams to be honest. I think the city of New York has more championships in all sports combined. I only like one New York team, win or lose & that is the Yankees.

I don't hate all the Boston teams. I have a great deal of respect for the Red Sox and the Celtics...

Pats... well... they do it to themselves. I wouldn't use the word "hate" though. They're not making a lot of friends out there by running up the score... I think ultimately, towards the end of the season... someone - a team that has nothing to lose - might even take a cheap shot. I don't think it's right to fight fire with fire like that... but c'mon... have some respect for the game. If you're up a million points... why do the fake spike thing? It's just wrong.

Bruins - well... I couldn't care less for Hockey.

Since this is the baseball section - I'll go ahead and reiterate. The Red sox have my utmost respect.

Boston teams are the best, period. Now doubt about it.
The Patriots will probably go 16-0 this season.
The Celitcs are the pick to win the NBA championship.
The Red Sox and the world series winners!!!
The Revolution made it to the MLS cup and the Bruins are doing pretty well, too.

Personally, I love Boston teams and I don't know where you got the idea everyone hates Boston sports clubs. The only ones who really dislike Boston are the Lakers, Colts and Yankees.

It's Bruins by the way, there is no 'e'.

However, to prove that not 'everyone hates boston sports teams', mathematically, you only need to show one that doesn't, you are that one, so, not everyone is hating on boston sports teams.

If you see a lot of negativity, consider what they are being negative too.

If someone posts "Isn't Boston the best place in the world to be a sports fan right now", then that's boasting and you will likely get negative comments.

If you ask open ended questions like "who is your pick to win the Superbowl", you may get people that voluntairly say it will be New England.

If you don't look for validation, you don't get randomly attacked for being a homer, it's simple.

I don't hate Boston sports but as a Cleveland fan, I got a bad impression of Boston fans who were severely lacking in class when they beat us in the bidding war for Manny Ramirez. I had started a web community for Indians fans around that time and would not let in any Boston fans because they were so obnoxious about it.

I think people should not forget where they came from and some - not all - Boston fans now act like the new bullies on the block. Overall, though, I could care less.

Your town is experiencing what New Yorkers experience everyday. Everyone loves to hate the New York Sports teams especially the Yankees. When your teams are successful it draws out the envious and instead of admiring the success they criticize everything they can.

It's because you are sore winners and even worse as losers.

I've never seen such annoying fans. Boston has some good teams. It's the fans that make everyone hate your teams.

I went to a Braves/BoSox game a few years back. The fans got all drunk and belligerant and before long started three seperate fights.

We know you're good, you just won the WS, shut up and enjoy the game.
They totally ruined my opportunity to see Schilling in action.

I hate BoSox fans.

I got no beef with the Bruins. I'm a Raptors fan, so I do have one with the Celtics, but that's just divisional rivalry. I don't really watch football or baseball though.

Not everyone is picking on us, just the ones who are jealous of their supreme greatness. Like Yankee, Knick, and Jet fans.

Red Sox---2007 World Series Champions
Bruins-----9 Wins in first 16 games.
Patriots---Undefeated at 10-0
Celtics-----Won first 8 games before they lost one.
