I was just thinking about the Dane Cook there's only one October commercial. And I was curious as to what everyone's favorite baseball commercial was...the Wheaties one where the guys act out the Gibson homerun I thought was decent, but my favorite of all time was Maddux and Glavine's, 'Chicks dig the long ball'
What does everyone else think?

The various commercials of the Twins "This is Twins Territory" are great. The Parody of the Red Sox Nation Master Card is good as well.
But one of my favorites, not necessarily funny, was for the Cubs. If memory serves me correctly it shows an empty cubicle and they words come up, your throat is a little scratchy, you are feeling tired, you just need to get home and rest. And then it shows an afternoon game at Wrigley with a businessman sitting in the stands in his suit and Cubs cap.
Oh and the Harry Caray, I am a Cubs fan and a Bud man commercials.

I'm with you. I think the Dane Cook commercial was way over exposed, and prefer to see the commercials with real players. Maddux and Glavine are class acts, and have decent comedic delivery. for folks who haven't seen it, you can see it here:

My other favorite is the ESPN commercial where David Ortiz puts on a Yankees hat just as Wally, the Red Sox mascot walks by. Technically it's an ESPN commercial, but it's really too funny. you can see that here:

Then there's this Pizza Hut ad, which was only ever released on a VHS of one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies, so it's pretty rare, but a treat. The song is "Right Field" by Peter, Paul, & Mary: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IjxntxEKOTA
Finally, ESPN no longer casts postseason baseball (awww....), but when it did it had an annual ad campaign, late in the season, about October baseball. Each year was different, some good, some bad. One ad had little ballplayers, in a daycare environment, with six helpful adults, each with a shirt reading "April", "May", ..., "September", nicely colored, cheerful, helpful, encouraging, nurturing, joyful, treating the ballplayer kids with the utmost love and respect.
And then "October" comes along, bald, dressed in black, the most psychotic drill sergeant ever seen. Gets totally in their faces. Yeah, October is different.

My favorite baseball commercial was a parody of the Priceless MasterCard commercial after the BoSox won the first WS in ages.
It starred Dennis Leary. It was on Comedy Central's end of year Show.

While not actually a "Baseball" commercial, the one that I like the best is the AFLAC commercial which both the duck and Yogi Berra star in. With lines like "The one you really have, that's why you need it" and "They give you cash, which is just as good as money" how can you not smile over the true Yogism's that are in this commercial.

The ESPN commercial where Big Papi and Jorge Posada are in the ESPN studio behind a pane of glass. Papi is ripping on JoPo for having a stiff ballcap, and Jorge is saying that he never wears it cuz he is a catcher. Papi then puts it on to break it in. As he puts it on, the Sox' mascot Wally walks by and sees Papi with a NYY cap on and freaks out!!! It is so funny!
So is the one where Papi spits on his hands before he shakes the hands of Rich Eisen's family. Classic!

The Mariners made some pretty good commercials for a while, not so anymore.
My favorite last season was the Torii Hunter one where he kills a pinata, its one of the best i've seen, the kids faces are priceless. See for yourself:

I live in Tampa and we have the Rays here so I try not to watch Baseball commercials

Bob Uecker's "I must be in the front row!" is GREAT!!!!
Tommy Lasorda's post season commercials last year were so good I couldn't believe they didn't use Tommy again this year.
