I don't know about you, but I'm getting pretty annoyed with all the questions about "who's your favorite person here", "who's your least favorite", etc. True, it's better than all the Barry Bonds and A-Rod questions, but come on, guys! Who cares if it's the offseason or not, there are still lots of things about baseball to talk about. We don't need to constantly bash each other or choose favorites here.
I mean, doesn't this section sometimes remind you of middle school (or high school, but I haven't gotten there yet)? People are always "gossiping" by posting questions about who hates who, and so forth.
Does anyone agree with me?

This question was not directed at you. I'm not annoyed when you ask those questions, but it's when people ask that question over and over and over and over....like, people who I never have even see in the baseball section before.

I do!
I've been through middle school once and I don't want to put myself through it again (espeically when I don't have to!).
At school, I get enough of the drama of liking and disliking people and I don't particularly like coming home to it on here.
This is a BASEBALL forum. Notice I said BASEBALL. We should be talking about baseball, not other members. If we have a problem with them, or really like them, then why don't we message them??? That would make SO much more sense. Quite frankly, I'd rather read a question about A-Rod or Barry Bonds than another "Who's your least favorite person on here?" At least Barry and Alex have something to do with the baseball world. If you look at MLB.com, will you see anything about a user on here?
Edit: Yankee Fan For Life, I wasn't talking about you, either. You're one of the "faithful" members of the baseball section. There's these people who get in here and ask those questions and (like Elliot said) that bothers me. Plus, you usually ask who we LIKE the "drama"-causing ones are about who people dislike. You have good questions that are appriciated by me,and other people I'm sure! Plus, this is the off-season! We need SOME questions on here to keep this from being like the Christmas section in July!=)

I agree 100%. Since when did the baseball section become 1984? Agree or else? C'mon now! Another quality poster asked a similar question here a few minutes ago, and we need more people like you two to help take back the forum and bring it back to what it used to be: a place for intelligent baseball banter. Down with the stupid questions!

This is sort of like a mixture of a drama tv show, and high school all at once! heir is arguments, fights, gossiping, their is bashing of teams, their is friends, and problmes, this site is getting kinda out of line, in the baseball section especially, bvut i try to keep myself in this section, i have all of my fans and contacts that i am friends with, and i love this section, so my answer to your question is A mixture of both, hope i helped!

haha, to tell you the truth, I kind of think that its funny, how people can take it SOO seriously, but when it goes over the line, then i can understand. I do agree with you, its the off season, and there is still so much about baseball we can all talk about. So lets get on track guys and start talking about something more important then us arguing like Jr. High drama.

Yeah I agree. I have to admit I myself have asked a question like that. No more from me I realize that that has nothing to do with Baseball and don't belong here. But great points, it is like Middle School. well sort of.

Exactly. Most answers have nothing to do with the question. And then there are the answers that are the equivalent of a book report.

while you just read my mind! i am in High school and this reminds me of some girls at my school where other people are their lives. like all they care about is who dating who whos going with whom to the prep home coming (i go to an all girls school) and what is evryone going to wear to the mixer. (luckliy there are not many girls like that at my school though) you are so right. i can't believe your not in high school your really mature and way more mature than many people on this site. but you have to remeber there are people like that where ever you go, and since most people have access to the web, and if they discover yahoo answers they are going to bring that with them.

yes! i understand you completely. i admit to answering one of those "do you hate so&so" questions yesterday, but i realized that's only probably making the person feel accomplished because we are probably getting annoyed by them.
it does remind me of middle school. (& my p.e class this year in highschool..man are they immature!)
