I just don't think that there is another explanation. It doesn't matter who we bring in, every player chokes when they are in a Cub's uniform. After 62 years of not even winning a pennant, saying that it's "a coincidence" or, "they just suck", is complete bull$hit.

Indians got lucky agiainst teh Yankees agian. Wang pitched bad in game 1, bugs saved them from a blowout in game 2 Yankeees killed them in game 3 and in game 4 Byrd got lucky from not pitching bad,.
