being embarrassed is like, one of my fears,
odd i know.
anyways in gym we're playing baseball. and we have to keep swinging until you hit the ball.
well, i was up there for like ever cause i just couldn't hit it!
i think i must've jinxed myself, because the times before it i hit it on the first try, and i even got a homerun.
so i was telling my friend how surprised i was at how well i was doing and BAM i just couldn't hit it yesterday, and the same thing happened today.
and it's VERY embarrassing.
what's a way to keep my nerves down, or improve?
i can't practice anywhere, and i don't have very good hand-eye cordination.
it also seems like i'm the only person in the school that this is happening to.
also, not critism. i just need a way to keep my nerves down, or try to improve. thanks (:

I know there is a rumor that Joe Torre might be getting fired; this morning someone told me that they read in the paper that Joe did get fired and now they are looking to trading Arod. Did anyone hear the same thing or can help me find more info on this?

In 1997, this team would finish third in the NL West but would lead the NL in six of the main offensive categories (batting average, hits, home runs, on base percentage, runs, and slugging average). Name this 1997 heavy hitting team.

There is no one better at handling young pitching. You may not agree, this was huge for Detroit.

I was watching ESPN the last couple of days and the top story continues to be the Yankees and Joe Torre. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against the Yankees, however, I live in California so I'm pretty indifferent about teams on the East Coast. The Yankees are a great story and one of the great dynasties in sports. So they will continue to live on in sports history.

What I want to know is, why is it that the Yankees, Red Sox, and all the East Coast teams get all the coverage all the time? It seems as though the media only cares about the east coast while the rest of us are completely ignored. I live in California and you never see a west coast team get any coverage on ESPN.

Why can't the Indians get their moment in the sun? Aren't they the ones who advanced to the ALCS? Is it really the end of baseball if Joe Torre, Roger Clemens, Andy Pettite, Mariano Rivera don't return?

The Red Sox have a team payroll in 2007 of $143 million while the Indians, Diamondbacks, and Rockies have a combined total team payroll of $168 million. Why should any of us want the Red Sox to win when it looks like they are trying to buy one themselves?
