Its truth that Yankees won't win any World Series crown by end of 21st century. They had another early playoff exit for third straight years (this year, last year, and two years ago). They still choke in the playoff since traded A-Rod from Texas.

For those bashing the Tigers for not making the playoffs, the Tigers now have the same chance as the Yankees to win the World Series.
I have one problem with your question, though. The Yankees haven't lost in the first round for two years straight.
They've done it in three.

yeah your right they lost out first round 2 years in a row but they also made it to the playoffs 12 years in a row and won 5 straight world series championships. When did detriot do that?
