NO, Wrigley is a beautiful ballpark, and should be kept around. Besides Wrigleyville wouldnt be the same without a wrigley field.

Well, the anser should be yes, I don't think they are going to do it. And I know that a lot of teams, with older stadiums have changed staqduims over the past 20 some odd years, but I do not believe that the Chicago Cubs will be doing that, anytime soon. Well most teams will put up the cost of $$$$$ to build a new stadium, the Chicago Cubs will not. Another team, that also seems like they will not move away from thier old stadium is the Boston Red Sox. Wrigley Field might even be considered a cemetry rather then a baseball stadium. So no I don't think the Chicago Cubs will move from Wrigley Field to a brand new stadium, nor do I think they will consider doing this.

The Cubs should not build a new ball park. Lots of people come just to go to a game at Wrigley. The ball park was used as a Federal League ball park and even though it does not exist any more it is still historic. If the Cubs leave Wrigley I will become a Brewers fan.

Wrigley field is such a gem of a ball park, and It's also
a proverbial cash cow! Despite It's short comings, there
is no place like it in major league baseball.
A new ball park would be great for the Cubs, but I don't
know If the magic of Wrigley field could be duplicated.
Look what happened to the White Sox. When the Sox
replaced old Commiskey with the new Commiskey(cell),
It hasn't been exactly the same since.
That old place had atmosphere! Even though I'm a Cubs
fan, I loved the ol' Commiskey!!!!!!!

I hope they never build a new park for the Cubs. Wrigley is a classic ballpark and should be kept, like Fenway Park is, because of its history in the world of baseball. Think of the ivy climbing the outfield wall and the bricks behind it. Think of the intimacy the fans have with attending a game there. Imagine yourself sitting in the bleachers, on a nice sunny afternoon, enjoying a Cubs-Cardinals game no matter who wins. Wrigley Field is a wonderful part of the framework of baseball.

Yes, they should build a new ballpark. The current one is starting to fall apart. Whoever buys the Cubs needs to buy some nice lakefront property & build a new stadium - with a parking deck. They can keep Wrigley around for tours. U.S. Cellular is nice, but it's too bad they didn't move it to the lakefront or something. There's alot more things they could've done with that ballpark. And, yeah, the Sox had a bad year this year - typical Cub fan taking any chance to slam the Sox even though the Cubs choked this year..... again.

I wish they would. One of the biggest reasons people go see the cubs is wrigley field. If a new stadium were built attendance would probably drop all the way down to 5 or 6.
You will definitely not see decent baseball played there on any given day.

No, I am not a Cubs fan but I still think Wrigley field has the best atmosphere compared to all ballparks.

No way! Why should they? Why should any team build a new stadium every 7-10 years? I say if the place isn't decrepit then keep using it. Plus I kind of feel sentimental toward Wrigley Field because that's where I witnessed my first major league game up close and personal. :)

The Cubs need to take a page out of the Red Sox play book when it comes to redoing their stadium!
You can't close Wrigley or Fenway the FANS would RIOT! They need to be clever in their remodeling efforts! The seats above the monstah are amazing! Be smart a keep your Icon of a stadium!
