Of course...look at the Cardinals last year. They barely made it into the playoffs.

I don't think so because the Indians and Red sox have 2 dominant cy young starters, and the offenses never stop hurting you. Plus both the Indians and red sox went 95+ wins in a good AL, but the D'backs and rockies had about 89-91 wins each in a NL that wasn't that good this year. I'm guessing that the AL will win in a minimum of 5 games.

Amazing enough this reminds me of 04 when the Cardinals were in my eyes the Best team with 105 reg season victories and a first round sweep of the Padres, then winning the NLCS.I thought there was nobody that was gonna beat that team, but Boston won the WS.Now its Boston that looks unbeatable but the Rockies are on a Big-Time roll.I pick the boys from the Big Rocks to Win it all.

absolutly not in my onw opinion the phillies were maybe the only tam that they were. they were the best team in the NL but the rockies are a very good team (2nd best in NL)and they also diserve to be where they are but the only reason they won is because they red hot and since they are that hot they are due to cool off. so even if they beat the diamond backs they can not beat either teams

The team that wins the world series is always the team on the hot streak going into the playoffs. If the Rockies can hold on to theirs, they got it.

The American League has just too much talent. The National League teams are good but not good enough. Just look at the interleague stats for 2006. The American League went 158-98 against the National League.

Have you learned nothing from this wackey 07 season? ANYHTING CAN HAPPEN! ANYTHING! The Rocikes are currently ridiing one of the best win streaks in recent memory and their peaking at the right time. If that continues i don't think it'll matter who they play. (that's a BIG IF of course)
Let's also not forget that last season St. Louis got into the post season by the skin of their teeth and went on win the whole frickin thing! I repeat: ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN! That's why we love this game.

Can they of course stranger things have happened! Look at last year an 83 win team won the whole darn thing!
The odds will be staked against them but sometimes that makes the teams believe? 2001 NE Patriots! vs Rams?

You phrased the question ever so slightly wrong. Should be asking yourself if the AL teams can match up to the hot streaks AZ and Rox have. Botox, er Bosox might be able to compete, but I say Rockies take it this year.

I think the Rockies could given their momentum. I think they have only lost once in their last 16 games!!!! Incredible. That loss was to the D-Backs. In the end I'd love to see the Sox on top but we have a tough series coming w/ Cleveland.

The Rockies will win the WS over the Indians in 6.
I don't think anybody can beat them right now.
