PS- yes i am a woman, but that is not why I like Grady Sizemore- he is exactly what the Indians needed and is doing a wonderful job. I've grown up watching the Tribe play baseball and it's amazing to see the talent they've lost AND gained in the past 10 years...Kenny Lofton is what, 40? And he's still going strong, one of the best base-stealers I have ever seen!!

Cleveland has been the hottest team in baseball for their last 48 games (only losing 14 of them). This wasn't even the easiest part of their schedule. In fact, they had their west coast road trip over that stretch. I challenge anyone to make a case for them slowing down. Honestly, what part of the Yankees series would give ANY indication of them losing their edge?
Favorite players... I'll go with Casey Blake as my position player. He epitomizes this team with his "whatever it takes mentality". Carmona would be my pitcher... the kid's amazing.

I like to think that anything is possible. If we make it it will not be easy, that is for sure. The Indians have to bring their A game but at least the Indians are not the walking wounded like the Angels were so Boston sweeping the Angels was very deceptive. Boston fans have gotten too arrogant - they seem to forget that they traded the Babe to NY, that their icon, Johnny Damon, defected to the Evil Empire, and most importantly, the ghost of Bill Buckner's play still roams somewhere in Boston. As for fave players, I love Grady Sizemore for playing like an old school athlete. Indians could be up or be down by 10 runs and Grady is going to keep motoring at full throttle. I can't get into women just into Grady because they want to wear a Mrs. Sizemore t-shirt - that is not baseball or being a baseball fan. That is being a teeny bopper and a groupie, something that Grady himself shies away from.

The Indians have a good shot beating the Red Sox.They have the bats to get by.Guys like Hafner,Sizemore,Martinez have to step it up.We all know Boston has the power hitters Ortiz,Ramirez,Lowell. And Red Sox have better pitching Schilling,Beckett,Sushi K Matsu,Papelbon etc.The only way Cleveland can win is by hitting smartly and driving in men on base. This will go 7 games.
Fav player- Kenny Lofton, my fav leadoff hitter ever

You gotta love the Deuce Rafael's. It's good to know that with a lead in the 7th, you're gonna be leading in the ninth (even odds on Borowski, but that's another story. Perez and Betancourt have been rock solid.
Asdrubal Cabrera is the youthful exuberance we need to get things going, and he's so darn consistent.
Go Tribe!!

Of course!!! THIS IS YOUR SEASON!! The Sox are good, but your team has the heart and hunger!!--fave of Tribe(and most dangerous) for me is a toss up between Victor Martinez and Fausto Carmona.ps..Grady is right there with Granderson...nothing but a good future.

it is possible, if francona continues to throw gagne out there. the Indians are a good team, and they match up very well with the red sox. but i believe the red sox will win in 7. they have to good of pitching with Beckett, Schilling, Okajima, and Papelbon to lose. and then you add Ortiz and Ramirez being as hot as they have been all year, with Lowell behind them, and that equation equals a world series for the red sox.

It's gonna be tough but we gotta stay positive...... What am I saying of course we are. CC and Fausto are gonna mow down and take the first two in Boston and we'll clinch in game 5 at home. Then it doesn't matter which NL team we face cuz it's our year.
