he'll either go to the Cubs or the Giants but whoever gets him will have to give him like 35 million a year and a 10 year contract so he could only go to a team with a lot of money.

As a Giants fan, I don't want ARod on this team. We're basically going to have half the payroll go to ARod and Zito. And even if ARod did play for the Giants, we're essentially going to have another Bonds type situation. Who's going to hit behind ARod? And how many World Series did the Bonds-solution take us to? Just one. The Giants should have got Vladimir Guerrero when we had the chance. He was much cheaper at the time and we coudl have locked him up. THen ARod makes sense cause then we could have the two-headed monster setup like Boston has...put some good defense around those two and hitters for average and with our solid pitching staff the Giants would be a 100-win team. But NOOOOO. We didn't get Vladdy. The best move now is to go young. Like Colorado and Arizona. No more broken down vets. Serious.

Let may state that both a NY Yankees & SF Gaints fan.My Yankees side ealier in the year San Franciso taught would a perfect fit for A-Rod.Mr.Rodriquez seem can't handle pressure when the spot light is on him but the last game he play earn my respect. It seen that he can now handle New York.My question when fan start booing him wll be able to handle.I say could be 50/50 that stay in New York or leave.

GOOD...REAL GOOD.
I think they let Barry Bonds go to clear up some cash to make a run at old PAY-ROD. There's a good chance he will go there or the CUBS. The only thing that is for certain is that he will opt out and not return to NY. If you think he will you're another delusional Yankee fan with yet another rude awakening on the horizon.

I just read in todays NY Daily news that Arod and his wife are inquiring about buying a BiG Apt on Madison Av,I really think Arod is staying in Ny,The paper also said Arod's manager is hoping the yankees will end up out bidding themselfs to get Arod back, and all of this talk is BS, his agent Scott Boras is putting out there about how all these clubs are willing to pay for him, Just to get the yankees to outbid themselfs for him! AROD IS STAYING IN NY!

I think that there might be a chance. People here in SF have been talking about this the past couple of years. But even if they do land A-Rod, will it really make them that much better?
Lets face it the Giants have LOTS OF HOLES TO FILL! I don't think that one guy eating up tons of payroll will really fix all of their problems.

very little chance. i live in SF and i hear a lot about these arod rumors. lets face it, the giants suck and they dont have very good position players in their farm system that can help them right now. putting all your eggs in 1 basket wont help the team. arod cant lead the giants to the playoffs by himself. so i doubt the giants spend 30-35 million on 1 player when they could spend that money and spread it out amongst 3-4 players that can help them. besides arod probably wants to go to a title contender. so the only teams i see him going to are: yankees, angels, tigers, red sox.

He will either stay in NY, go to Boston, or Las Angeles. Giants don't have the money, ecspecially w/ the whole Zito deal which cost them big money.
0% chance he goes to San Fran

My gut is he will stay in NY. The Torre situation could affect it, but Arod doesn't care who the manager is . ... so he'll probably stay. Otherwise Boston, LA Angels, Dodgers, and a possible sleeper in Seattle. The Cubs a real dark horse but he does like Piniella.

I dont think there is any chance of him going anywhere honestly. I think all these things you hear about him going to the cubs and stuff are just rumors. The yankees are the only team that will be able to pay him the money he wants. Everyone knows A-Rod wont be happy without his money
