When I was two years old my father and uncle took me to a New York Giant game at the Polo Grounds. That same year they took me to Ebbets Field in Brooklyn. Finally they took me to Yankee Stadium. Now, I don't remember any of these trips but from what my father and uncle told me, I had a ball. When I finally was old enough to realize what baseball was, Mickey Mantle was THE player and he was a Yankee. I was still a pretty small kid but was mesmerized by this incredible God like athlete. I've been a Yankee fan ever since.

I've been a Cleveland Indians fan since the 1950's when I was born. I remember watching Rocky Colavito play at the old Municipal Stadium. And I went to Jacobs Field the first year it opened and about a dozen games since. My legs won't let me walk that far anymore, so now I watch them on TV.
So I'm in hopes we can beat Boston and then win the World Series. It was tough on all us Cleveland Indians fans in the 90's to make it so far, but not far enough. But I guess you haven't enjoyed a real playoff run either if you've only been following the Yankees for 3 years.
3 years is not a lot of time when you're my age!

I was never really a baseball fan until 1998. You couldn't help but see a lot of Cubs & Cardinals games that year because of the home run race, I became really familiar with both of those teams and really liked the Cardinals' style, largely a product of their manager. I think another factor was that most everybody I knew was a Cubs fan and I found it to be a lot of fun to root opposite the majority.
So I've now been a Cardinals fan for about 9 years.

Red Sox fan--went to my first game in 1981. Sox beat the Rangers 10-4 at Fenway. John Tudor and Fergie Jenkins were the starters.

Proud St. Louis Cardinal fan when you consider that 2005. reason that's been so quickly became as a results of fact i did not truly know something approximately baseball previously then, till I observed their very final dropping pastime interior the playoffs against the Astros. i'm from a kinfolk of Cardinal followers so I rooted for them when you consider that and the previous couple of years i've got found out further and further regarding the Cardinals and baseball. suitable now i'm studying extra regarding the previous Cardinal gamers and previous baseball (now that I even have the present down). that's been a large 2 years!
