not in terms of domination by one team, but in terms of competitivness. The last competitive and exciting world series for me was the Angels vs. Giants series in 2002. Every pitch was tense, every at bat was surrounded by tension...

I'm glad they won for only one reason. Maybe now I can go back to watching the regular Sunday night line up on Fox.

They talk about Mike Lowell being a free agent so there might be room at third on the Red Sox. I'm a Sox fan and I don't like talking about getting rid of Mike Lowell but we've had terrible problems at shortstop since Garciapara left. Why not move A-Rod back to short, addressing a real concern of ours. Also, as a Sox fan, I can now say that it's official that I don't hate A-Rod because he didn't really become a Yankee. Being able to say that plus the fact that we're going to wrap this up tonight make me able to say that it's a great day. I didn't want to hate A-Rod. As far as marketability (ha he actually needs no more of that), he'd be looked at as more valuable as an ss considering how bad SS's numbers have been down the past few years. It just seems odd to me that as much espn and baseball that I watch, i've not heard anyone mention that as even an idea. He's still an amazing athlete and I'm sure still a good SS. Let me know what you think.

... make no mistake I'm behind Boston on this series--mainly because I hate the Yankees and I'm eager to see justice in regards to that bloated "hero," Babe Ruth...

nevertheless, I had hoped for a bit more sport in this series...

yes, yes, it is but the 7th and just as I started typing Hawpe *finally* got the Rockies on the board, it ain't over till it's over... still, if the momentum is unphased, this is shaping up to be as much of a joke as when the 1998 Pads beat out the Braves to ... or the subsequent embarassing year for the choking Braves.

Go Sox! ..but jeez, Rockies, I mean, at least make a college try...

I absolutely 100% do not care about the Yankees, but has anyone heard anything about Roger Clemens pitching next year? I know the guy probably won't announce anything until after the start of next season. Even though I don't care for the Yankees or the Redsox, I have a lot of respect for Clemens and his love for the game. I think when you play until you 45 even though your numbers have declined significantly, it shows you've given all you can give to the game.

Okay. Remember back in the 2004 World Series days, when Curt Schilling had the "bloody sock?" Well, my question pertains to this.

See, my dad thinks that Curt Schilling painted his sock red for attention from the Sports World. Personnally, I think it's ridiculous.

Let me know what you think.

Oh, and if you are a Boston fan, please put your biases aside for this one.

I'm sure at some point, some Major League starter has gone in, choked up 5 runs or something and been pulled w/o making an out. What I'd like to know is: Has anyone been pulled for giving up 2, 3 runs and no outs? How few runs and still pulled? Specifically, how many pitches did he throw??

My husband is a very, very smart man. He has such a passion and love for sports. Since his most recent company has gone bankrupt I am hoping he can find a job being a Field Reporter, or something involving sports. Its such a waste for him to have this excessive knowledge and not use it!

He has been in management for over 6 years, has no college, what are some options? We have looked into Fox, and Nike, but neither of them have this sort of thing. Fox has internships for college students, Nike has a girl Field Reporter but not a position for a male. I mean when I say smart, I mean he can list who won what game against who in 1973. He knows all the records, etc, for Baseball and Football.

I know if my husband can get an interview somewhere thats all he will need, he is filled with all of these facts and statistics, I know he would impress.

Help me out!

Hey man I'm a diehard Red Sox fan. But seriously...they're too many bandwagon fans out there who only like them because they win, and don't know the difference between Ted Williams and Dustin Pedroia. And of course that also makes the fact that whenever the BoSox come to town they're always at home.

My point? Too many bandwagon fans. Anybody agree?

(Oh and Go RED SOX!!!)
