Okay. Remember back in the 2004 World Series days, when Curt Schilling had the "bloody sock?" Well, my question pertains to this.

See, my dad thinks that Curt Schilling painted his sock red for attention from the Sports World. Personnally, I think it's ridiculous.

Let me know what you think.

Oh, and if you are a Boston fan, please put your biases aside for this one.

It was blood from the suture that ripped on his ankle. Paint? Right...I heard about that Gary Thorne interview with Mirabelli that was grossy misconstrued. Thorne's an idiot and anyone that believed that bull, is also one.

Schilling was pitching for a WS contending team, why would he want more attention from "the Sports World." You better hope you didnt inherit his genes on this one.

The answer is he is commonly referred to as a deutsche. The question is what does almost anyone who has gotten to know Curt Schilling think of him as a person? I think its not even worth discussing, it was real blood, the only reason people are saying that he painted it is because some reporter in Baltimore started the rumor this season. I heard it on a sports talk radio show.

I know you shouldn't answer a question with a question but, What was Curt Schilling achieving by coloring his sock? I mean the guy rakes in millions a year.

I'm a Red Sox fan, and I think it's hilarious that people think he painted the sock. Do they really think that he was in the clubhouse preparing to pitch a World Series game and suddenly said, "Wait a minute, where's that paint?"

Sometimes blood smeared on a sock is gonna look worse than it actually is. For example, when you get a bloody nose it doesn't hurt and there's blood all over the tissue.

I'm saying the pain wasn't as bad as it was made out to be.

The problem was that Schilling is commonly known as a drama queen, a status he at least somewhat deserves. So people doubted it.

I personally think he popped a zit on his ankle. Woopty doo.

The DNA test showed that either Curt was hyped up on 57 different spices, or an heir to the Heinz family fortune. Personally, I thought it was simply ketchup! LOL

At the time I believed he had sueters in from a quick surgery on his ankle.

I think it was real. Who cares; he was lights out either way.

he had minor surgery on his foot, to tack down a tendon, which kept slipping, there were 2 or 3 stitches which pulled apart, and he had some minor bleeding..
