Did he play for the Yankees? Will he come back again?

I just searched and Lowell did in fact play for the Yankees in 1998.

fool the yankees said they wouldnt negotiate with a rod if he opts out of his contract . i think hes goin to the LAA

Actually in 1998 he played with the Yankees in 8 games and then went to the Marlins. I hope he does come back to the Red Sox because he is a good player.

He was drafted by the Yankees but he was traded to the Marlins when he was still in the minors.
Hmm, you're right. He had 15 at bats in 1998 for the Yankees--must have been a September callup.

heck no!!! he played for the marlins before coming to the red sox...i think the red sox should keep him...look what he has done all year and in the postseason (take that arod). Hes a great fit in the sox organization and a great player...not overpaid!!!
