Not every time. It all goes through shifts. Sometimes the NL is stronger than the AL, sometimes the NFC is stronger than the AFC. Sometimes the West is stronger than the East.

But when the two leagues are at the same level, thats when it is a series to remember. It's not all of them, but those series are the ones to remember.

Not the current ones (not yet anyway)

The conferences/leagues are not evenly matched in most American Pro sports. In MLB, ANY American League playoff team could have destroyed the Rockies and probably an All-Star team comprised of the 4 NL teams as well.

The AL dominates the NL in MLB. The AFC dominates the NFC in NFL. The West dominates the East in NBA and NHL. That's just the way it is nowadays. But it will change in time, like most things in life.

That's probably an overstatement. However, there is a lot of pressure involved in championship games. Sometimes a team gets behind, starts pressing, and more bad things follow.

Usually that's more true of Super Bowls, since it is one game and a team doesn't have tomorrow to get even.

In addition, there's no rule that says the two best teams have to meet in the championship game. The NBA West has been better than the East lately.

Did you watch the Rose Bowl between USC and Texas a couple of years ago or any of the Super Bowls the pats have been in (except for 86, let's not go there). How about Arizona's win in game 7 over the Yanks? Plus, the Sox make everyone look bad, remember the Yankee series in the 04 ALCS when the Sox whooped them. HAHAHAHAHAHA

Go SOXXXX!!!!

Well, you just answered it, teams are lopsided, there's always a stronger division in sports AL>NL in baseball, AFC>NFC in football, West>East in Basketball (maybe this year it may be closer to equal). Until the leagues even out t he Championsips can't help but suck.

Maybe as fans we expect a great game and also the championship games are so over-hyped that when it is played it never lives up to what the media hoped it would be. just look at Nascar and the so called ten race chase. Talk about boring.

superbowls pretty fun to watch

thats because they each only have one game to play

quit it with the best of 7 or 5 series just make each playoff game a one game series

The answer is simple ; the sheer idiocy of having completely unnecessary playoff games has resulted in mediocre championship games .
