This isnt about which teams are better but who has the more dedicated fans...whether its Bruins or Rangers/Islanders fans, Celtics or Knicks fans, Patriots or Giants/Jets fans, or Red Sox or Yankees/Mets fans. Which city is more dedicated to their teams?

I know that Yankees was first team to have the numbers on their uniforms. Now I wonder I want to know which team was first team to have the names on their uniforms. The teams began have thier names and numbers on their uniforms since post WW2.

For those of you who don't know he's suppose to be the next Ken Griffey Jr!! :D Also...what's going to happen with Craig Monroe? Obviously he's being shipped elsewhere else. He's done nothing but struggle this year. I personally am tickled pink about Grandy & Maybin in the OF---UNSTOPPABLE COMBO!

Do you guys think he has a legitimate shot at being the cy young award winner? I mean Haren, Sabathia, and Beckett look ahead of him, but I think it's possible, I would vote for him.

Why don't they just build fences or walls? If it goes over the fence it's a homerun and then umpires wont have to determine if the ball went over the yellow line and if it is a homerun.

I recently got an old autographed baseball from a friend at work. The ball is from 1970 and the autographs are barely visible. Is there any solution I can put on the ball to bring them out so I can actually read them?

I recently acquired @ least 5,000 baseball cards from friends who are moving. The oldest ones are 1984-1991. How do I put a value, if any, on these cards. Any sites to go to? I have no clue where to begin. Any help you can give me would be very much appreciated.

I am wondering now that Barry Bonds has beaten the record will his past homerun balls go up in value? How about milestone balls such as ball #565 the one that beat Mark McGwire's record? And where is the best place to sell an item like this? Thanks

Come on, seriously? Hasn't Barry proven he's a big enough idiot. He's going to try and sue Schilling for saying he took steroids. Well, it's been proven that he did, just not "knowingly" so I ask, WHERE IS THE DEFEMATION?!?

He said that the Yankees and Mets won't make the playoffs because they only win with a great offense and OK pitching.
Yet he has said the Rockies will win the Wild Card because they have a great offense and a OK pitching staff.

Is vastly overrated. I'm tired of people propping him to a level he doesn't belong. Fact is, Hank was a very good hitter who played an extremely long time, and broke the record because of the laucnhing pad. His career OBP is nothing to ride about, nor is his supposed "amazing homerun power".

Barry Bonds, even prior to 2000, was a superior player. He had a better career Relative ISO. ( a better metric for power than Pure homeruns), higher career OBP, more intentional walks, much better basestealing numbers, and more MVP'S and GG'S.

Hank wishes he had the all-around skills Barry did.
