Dear (Coach Name):

Hello, my name is (your name) thinking of attending your school. What kind of baseball programs does your school offer? (Then proceed to say some of your qualities that you could add to their team.)

Yours truly,
(your name again)

If you'd like, email me what you come up with and I'll see what I think.

Dear Coach,
I am an avid baseball player and have played for x years. I am a long time supporter of you and the team at XXXX College. I plan to attend XXX college in the fall, and look foward to team try-outs. I would appreciate any pointers you could give me to make my tryout experience as successful as possible. If there is any applicable paperwork or forms required in advance, please foward those to me or let me know where I may obtain them.

Sincerely,
(your name)

attach a few pictures of yourself in the e-mail,

preferably a picture of you on the baseball field,

and a picture of you off the field so he can better know you.
