Well i think it would not be october because since 1995 and on they made the playoffs every year , and many yankee fans have been use to going to october . I think the number one goal would in the AL beat the yankees so they would not move on . Many people say they wont make the playoffs this year. I think they will because well of course im a yankee fan i have faith in them they will.

So would it really be Ocotber without the yankees not in the playoffs

All right so we all know that Brandon Webb now has 43 consecutive scoreless innnigs, but my question is WHO HOLDS THE RECORD FOR MOST CONSECUTIVE SCORELESS INNINGS AND HOW MANY INNINGS WAS IT?

P.S If you can throw the year in there to that would probably help your chances of getting best ANswer.

So Jason Giambi wasn't punished for his steriod admission, and is again playing baseball.
Who believes that he is actually back to try and help the Yankees win some games and was not really let off with a slap on the hand because of his "charity work" and helpfulness in the steriod investigation, as the commisioner says. How many athletes do YOU know who are let off of charges because of their charity work? Do they really think that the public is that naive??

Why don't the Yankees let Joba Chamberlain pitch back to back days? I don't get that.

IMO, the two most important "rate" statistics for hitters are on base pct. and slugging pct. OBP measures a hitter's ability to extend an inning/create scoring opportunities by reaching base (and not wasting outs) while slugging measures the ability to advance a baserunner. Without either of these, you can't score.

But it seems that batting average is still the "main" number in some people's minds. Why is that?

Craig Monroe's career with the Tigers is now officially over, Neifi Perez's career with them is too. What about Pudge? His contract ends at the end of the year. Will he resign with the Tigers or go elsewhere? I heard he wanted to end his career with Detroit.

I know you're gonna bring up the 2004 play-offs but I am over that. Have the Red Sox fans forgiven Bill Buckner's, oh geez, I must have lost that grounder because of the sun & lose after they were one strike away. Is Bill Buckner allowed in Boston? I admit the Red Sox made history in 2004 & I give them their props but the until the Red Sox win, let's see, 20 more World Series, then they would be even with the Yankees so until then the Yankees will always be above the Red Sox
