The yankees 1st round pick this year Andrew Brackman. I hear he has sick stuff. Should he be good? Has anybody seen him pitch or anything?

He is on the Yankees, and is the older brother of Chris Duncan of the St. Louis Cardinals. Duncan has been on a hot streak since he got called up!!!!!!!

If they pitch less each day, their arm strength doesn't diminish, and a bullpen has around 10 to 12 pitchers stocked (5 starters, 5-8 relievers). Using a shorter time period for pitching, they could use 3-5 pitchers a day and have their arms not wear out, and keep a fresh bullpen. The 3 inning range will keep their rotation through a lineup to a minimum so hitters will keep guessing and not get accustomed to a pitcher through the innings. What's so bad about that?

I say yes, I mean even with steroids, its still incredibly hard to hit a homer. Still have to have plate vision and contact, not to mention your own strength. Also without steroids, he probably woulda gone to the HoF anyways. Tell me what you think.

I mean look at his stats in the minor leagues,

In five seasons in the Minor Leagues he has a 2.70 E.R.A.

Shouldnt the Yankees at LEAST give him a chance?

He mentioned his friend is going to New York to watch the yankees play for his birthday and he said he was jealous becuase he has never seen them play anywhere and would like to see them at the stadium before it gets torn down. Its kinda complicated so tell me if you would still want to go considering 1. Were broke so it would have to be cheap seats and eating cheaply and everything while were there (thrusday night to sunday). We can stay at my friends house so no hotel expense. 2. I will be 6 months pregnant by then and not keen on walking. 3. How much fun could it be to take a pregnant woman to a yankees game (considering i know NOTHING of baseball) I think thats about it. The only good thing is he does have family in New jersey he has been wanting to see so he would be happy about that as well. Please tell me if you think he would like it or if its too mcuh trouble. Thanks (we live in miami btw) oh and the yankees would play the baltimore.

If he was Mr. Steroids, do you eliminate the 73 home run season, and how far back would you take out homers

I have to go with Joe Carters Homerun in the world series. Its not possible to hit a HR bigger than one that wins the world series for you and your team.

Whats your guys opinion?

You're playing KC and they have gotten better. This could determine who ends in last place. Looks like the whiney sux are showing their true colors and proving that 2005 was, indeed, a fluke.

Personally, I am concerned he may not be lights out like before. But, overall, his return should give The Tigers the mental lift they need to come back. Your thoughts?

Oh Yeah, I still believe The Tigers take the division by at least 1 game. Should be a very interesting 6 weeks!

I understand how they work but if a team is going to trade for a player who has cleared waivers, why didn't they just claim them in the first place?

Mine would have to be when my grandma got tickets to go to an Orioles game for every male on her side of the family. So we were scheduled to attend a game in early September 2001 but becuase of 9/11 the game got rescheduled for the end of the season and we got tickets to a game at a later date. It turns out the tickets were for Cal Ripken Jr.'s last game before he retired so I got to watch my favorite player play his last game which was awesome even though I was up in the nosebleeds.

So the Cubbies and Cards game was cancelled because of this freaking rain. When they pick a date, do the ticketholders from today's game get in for free? Will it pick back up in the bottom of the 3rd with Zambrano up or do they start from scratch?

all the yankees do is buy good players but cant seem to win any big games, and bring back a pitcher who retired twice and still cant keep up in the big leagues, oh and btw all jeter ever does now is put a mark on the E column
