You're playing KC and they have gotten better. This could determine who ends in last place. Looks like the whiney sux are showing their true colors and proving that 2005 was, indeed, a fluke.

They should be. I'm seeing KC taking 2 of 3 and a possible sweep. Buehrle is going to be tough tonight, but if Meche brings his A-game KC can win any time he's on the mound. Then we've got Nunez and Bannister going, both of whom have been close to unhittable as of late. This series, my friend, is where KC puts some distance between themselves and that stench that comes from the southside of Chicago.

GO ROYALS!!!!

The Tigers were big favorites to win the division. In fact - they were predicted to win 100 games or close. As of today - no playoffs for the Tigers!! Everyone knew the White Sox would not win much this year - but the Tigers - they have become what people were saying of the Yankees earlier - the biggest choke job in a long, long time! I mean - the Tigers suck right now! The White Sox even swept them last time out. They are so bad that they think having a one inning relief pitcher come back will help save their season. And you know that the wild card is getting out of their reach!
So in conclusion - from the hearts of White Sox fans everywhere - thanks Detroit. Your choke job in progress has saved the White Sox from being the laughing stock of the AL Central. When the year is over - the Tigers not getting to the post-season will be the biggest story in the Midwest - not the White Sox horrible year. And again - we thank you for that. But hey Detroit - at least you still have the Lions..... sorry.

Just shows how incredibly difficult it is for teams to repeat as champs or even as pennant winners. People don't realize how great the 1996-2001 Yankees really were.

Pierzynski Girl: sorry, can't have it both ways. Yanks haven't won in seven years, so when they started winning recently (mostly due to a bunch of rookies and young farm system products), you can't go back to the lame old reference to the payroll.

If the payroll ordained everything, the White Sox would be running away with their division this year, since they have the highest payroll in that division and about twice Cleveland's.
So which is it?

because of fact the 2005 isn't taking part in together in 2007, your choke remark is invalid. The Sox have gained lots extra suitable than Jimmy Smokes boys have presently, so as that they could desire to be doing some thing actual. of course, they have been given the momentum from taking part in Detroit - and sweeping them - in Detroit!! i won't be in a position to attend till at last the Yankees get rid of you adult adult males from the playoff race. we are able to then snort together approximately how the Tigers ought to have been extra suitable than a one twelve months ask your self - and how they blew it via no longer winning all of it whilst that they had the prospect!

I think that there 2005 was a combo of lots of bad calls in there favor stupid umpires and lots of luck. I think that in a few more years there fans will go back to there pre-2005 numbers.

The White Sox will always remember 2005.

When ever people criticize their White Sox they will yell, ''Remember the 2005!''
