I 1/2 agree with you. The Mets are the best team in the NL. The D-Backs have zip expierence and the NL Central is too weak. The Padres have a shot too but they don't have enough bats to put them over.
In the AL I think the Indians will. I am probably being slightly biased but I truly think they can. CC and Carmona are probably the best 1-2 punch in the game. Byrd is having a good season and Westbrook has been lights out his last few starts(2 H 1 ER 7 IP yesterday). They can go without a 5th starter until August 25th. My guess is that they will give Cliff Lee another shot. If he can at least return to his 2006 form or maybe by some miricale his 2005 form the Indians staff will be something to be reckoned with. The offense has shown signs of coming out of it's slump and the defense is improved from last year.
Indians over Mets in 7.
