You need to get to know this guy before you know how much you two really do like each other. You'll also need some things to talk about and do together or it could be kind of awkward. Spend some time together and see how it goes. If nothing else you'll learn something about relationships, and WOW are they complicated sometimes. Also, be carefull-especially these days. Now...How 'bout those Yankees?

Ask him out for a lunchtime coffee or ice cream. It's social, it's public, and while the night holds endless possibilities, the noontime hour is pretty much just about dining and relaxing.
If ice cream, order for each other as a surprise element.

Your a woman, be inquisitive isn't that what women do. You can tell a guy likes you whether he looks you in the eye or somewhere else or the tell tale signs of droll in the corner of his mouth. A good way would be to talk to him and start form there.
