After falling in the series opener to the Tigers, their foes from last year's American League Division Series, the Yanks will try to even up the set tonight at 7:05 ET. Be there to see it all(like me) as Andy Pettitte opposes fellow left-hander Nate Robertson. The Yankees tacked on two in the ninth off Tigers closer Todd Jones on Thursday, but the Bombers were in catchup mode all night after Carlos Guillen's early grand slam as they lost, 8-5. The loss dropped New York a half-game back of Seattle in the AL Wild Card.

If you're talking about recently the Yankees are doing great.
They have the best record after the all star break.
Although they have lost three games in a row recently the Yankees are making a good comeback after their horrible start.

well to much to say but there in a 3 game loosing streak and they play the tigers today and there 5 1/2 games behind Boston so don't worry

Thay are incredibly offensive, despite their lack of good pitchers they have cut down the game difference incredibly. They will be in the playoffs and they stand a chance
