i have a Cal Ripken baseball card,the card is his second draft pick for the Orioles and i am wondering how much i would get for his card,it's back in the 1970's something,it's in perfect condition,i had it for 8 years no scratches nothing like really really good shape,need know how much it would be worth.

In SF on KNBR, Mike Krukow and Duane Kuiper are two of the funniest guys to call a game. And when Lon Simmons does a game, I just shut of the TV and listen. He's the best.

In todays baseball preview in the New York Post, they have predictions for both the New York Mets and New York Yankees.

In the Yankees section it says "The Yankees will finish 92-70 and defeat the Phillies in the World Series.

In the Mets section it says "The Mets will finish 93-69 and lose to the Red Sox in the World Series"

I was unaware that the world series was played twice.

there is all this talk that the Yankees are gona start Carl Pavano on Opening Day, and people are saying its crazy. I may b missing somting here but y the hell dont they start Mike Mussina???, i dont think he's injured or anything.

Hot Pink and Black!!! lol...yeah... Hot Pink shirt, Gray pants w/ black stripe on the side...Black Viser and Socks...Black lettering on shirt...oh and it is a team for 14U softball...12,13 and 14...uhhh...somebady on our team said "Hot Chicks" , "Pink Panthers" or "Pink Rockers" but I don't really like the 1st 2... I think they want Pink or Hot Pink in the name...or Black...not really Black though...So anything will do though! thank you in advance... As most baseball fans know, Carlos Guillen's contract for the Tigers ends this year, and he may head to free agency. Also, Alex Rodriguez is debating whether or not he's wanted in New York. Is there a possibility that A-Rod may go over to the Tigers at the end of this year, and go back playing short stop, and what do you guys think will happen to Guillen?

On March 27th, the Padres had 25 hits, and a final score of 24-7 over the Rangers. Given that it was a spring training game, thats impressive none the less. Maddox was more than adequate, and the bats were at work. Is this a sign of things to come, or a fluke?
