In SF on KNBR, Mike Krukow and Duane Kuiper are two of the funniest guys to call a game. And when Lon Simmons does a game, I just shut of the TV and listen. He's the best.

I will always listen to baseball on the radio. I will cherish memories of keeping the box score while in the kitchen with Ma & Pa when I was a kid in the 70's. The best of times was listening to Harry Kalas and Richie Ashburn.

Being a Tiger fan in the region, I used to a lot when Ernie Harwell was providing the play by play. He was very good describing the action and the situation at hand in few words.
No offense to the guys that have done radio since, but they have awfully big shoes to fill. They are not bad even though they are "homers". That has to be awfully difficult following a guy considered a legend that broadcasted Tiger games for probably 40 years.

Listen to games all the time. Used to love John Rooney calling White Sox games, but now fans in St. Louis get that joy.

The only baseball is St. Louis Cardinal Baseball and yeah I love listening to it on the radio and the best announcer was Jack Buck but since he passed away the next best is his son Joe Buck....

Yeah I love baseball on the radio..I have had the pleasure of listening to Vin Scully for most of my life.
