how do i use my legs and abs when pitching. what technique is used? i feel i pitch with my arm too much and it becomes sore. how do i use the maximum effort with my legs and abs, and please dont tell me to look at a video of some pitcher like nolan ryan or koufax.

They traded Adam to the Pirates for Relif Pithcher Mike Gonzalez. Laroche is a franchise player who will be a huge star very soon. He hit 30+ home runs last year. I Love the Braves but to trade Laroche wasen't the best idea.

I am buying wood baseball bats for my kids. Two have cracked already. I would like to know the strongest type of wood for a bat, and whether any special finishes make the bat stronger. Also is a thicker handle better?

It needs to be very descriptive and please make it long as well!

Please use simile and methapor and oxymoron and all of those "effective writing" stuff!

For example:

"Bottom of the ninth, two men on, two out, the score is tied. With the crack of the bat and the soft thud of a hardball settling into a leather glove, the game goes to extra innings"

or like

"beads of sweat dripping from their faces...children with smudges of ice cream on their faces"

I just bought a new softball glove and I'm not really sure what to do with the hole by the index finger... should i stick my finger through the hole or keep my finger inside the glove... why or why not?

I know pitcher's need 50 innings pitched for a season to be considered their rookie year, or if they've appeared in three seasons that counts as having your rookie year passed. What is it for hitters though?

There has been a lot of talk about Chase Utley possibly being a good front runner to win this year's NL MVP award.

Last year he had some great numbers .309 32-hr's 102-rbi's 131-runs scored 15-stolen bases and he finished 7th in the MVP voting.

What kind of numbers will he have to put up to beat out the big boys like Pujols, Howard, and Berkman.
