The 2-3 is being used by a few AAA teams, and sometimes gets the pitcher a balk. Umpires get confused and don't really have any other way to catagorize it. Can it become a mainstay of the infield defense, or a trick to pull when you're struggling and don't care?

I'm sure this is asked all the time, but it's a fun one to rehash. Mine with reasons is:

1B - Lou Gehrig - Awesome hitting ability, and maybe the nicest guy in baseball history.
2B - Joe Morgan - More versatile than Hornsby, Joe could hit for power, stole bases, played better defense than Hornsby too.
SS - Honus Wagner - pretty much a perfect player with no real flaws in his game
3B - Mike Schmidt - Power, speed, on base average, and defense, the only thing he couldn't do was hit for average that well, and he struck out a lot.
RF - Babe Ruth - He's a given
CF - Willie Mays - He's just the most versatile choice at this position over Cobb or Mantle
LF - Ted Williams - Barry Bonds can suck it frankly.
C - Johnny Bench - Defense and power puts him ahead of Berra.
P- Walter Johnson - just ahead of Lefty Grove.
Mgr - John McGraw - kinda reminds me of Billy Martin, but better

DH (Optional) - Rogers Hornsby - IF he could keep from being such an ***.

He turned a blind eye to steroids, created the idiotic idea of using the All Star Game to detemine which league has home field for the World Series, and caused the cancellation of the 1994 World Series.

I can't stand Barry Bonds. He is such a steroid using ****** and does not deserve to break any records. Everytime he takes the field he disgraces the name of baseball.

if you look at the biggest cities in the U.S., New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, all have two teams. Houston is the fourth largest city in the U.S., is it time for Houston to grow to two teams or not?

Add 4 teams to the play-offs. Then give the top 2 from each league a bye??
I know traditionalists will take exception and I consider myself somewhat of one, hey why shouldn't pitchers hit??
That said, there are many upsides: More cities interested for a longer period, 162 games is a long season.
I hate seeing a team earn the right to be #1 and then get ousted in a best of 5. This way, the grueling regular season victors get some reward. (besides an extra home game-162 games for 1 home game)
Wild card teams have won it alot recently.
Other sports all have more and look what it does for the NFL.
