I can't stand Barry Bonds. He is such a steroid using ****** and does not deserve to break any records. Everytime he takes the field he disgraces the name of baseball.

To koala: Are you kidding me? You don't need a positive test to prove it. Just compare his baseball cards from when he played with the Pirates and now. In Pittsburgh Barry was a stick. Now he looks like he could play tight end for the 49ers. I think that's proof enough.

Every baseball fan in America.I am still upset about Bonds saying that he was more concerned with beating Babe Ruth than Hank Aaron because Babe was white.Little league kids make fun of him.I know--I'm a coach.Think about it....nobody is excited outside of S.F.All baseball fans are amazed the boom hasn't fallen on him. Will he break it and go in the books?Surely this is a bigger crime / lie than Pete's!Cover up?If they are worried about image,Bonds celebrating would be worse than waiting 5-10 yrs. and trying to change it.All fans of the game should protest his playing at all in their own way.LOOK at skinny Barry in his Padres uniform.Who needs evidence?LOOK at the difference.Nobody fills out that much that late.Protest at Cooperstown on opening day.Let MLB know this is enough.Don't wait.

Are you God? Can you produce proof of a positive "steroid" test on Bonds? Can you describe how baseball is disgraced each time he hits the field? Describe an ******, per a dictionary? Can you break his records?

If anyone here that uses Yahoo answers for anti-Bonds sentiments can answer these questions, then you have the right to bad mouth him. (Also, there are other "guilty" and positive steroid testing athletes that people are not beating down??????) I guess he's a scapegoat for racism and the false steroid accusations are fuel for people with too much time on their hands.

"Also", I think that even though he took growth hormones and amphetamines, they are not considered steroids! That's why his baseball cards show more bulk as the years progressed.

It doesn't really matter, A Rod is about to be the youngest player to ever hit 500 home runs. A Rod and Pujols will both probably pass Bonds in the next 10 years. Pujols could wind up with over 800 dingers when it's all said and done.

If I was pitching to him, he would never even get a chance to swing the bat. Not a walk, but a hit by pitcher. An intentional hit by pitch right in the side. I would not go for the upper part of the body, the knees & below. He is not a team player, it is all "ME". If he was positioned correctly in the 1992 National League Championship Game 7, the Pirates would of been in the World Series, not the Braves. That was the worst throw I have ever seen in a professional baseball game. How can Sid Breem score from first on a base hit to left field with 2 bad knees? Yes, I am still sore!!!

While I agree that Bonds and the steriod connection is bad for the game, ultimately it doesn't really matter if he breaks the home run record. In about 5 or 6 years A-Rod will reset it, and a few years after that Pujols will pass Bonds and possibly make a run at A-Rod's new mark (I'm thinking around 800)

He's a prick. He weighed about 170 when he played in Pittsburgh, and then he's built like a truck in SF? Yeah, all natural i'm sure. Greatest hitter of all time? You are a moron and have no sense of baseball history. Compare Bonds' career avg. of .299 with Ted Williams (.344 career avg), Stan Musial (.331 career avg.) and Tony Gwynn (.338 career avg.) who were great hitters. The funny thing is, Bonds only batted over .300 twice in 7 seasons in Pittsburgh. And sorry, Bonds will not be bringing a title to the Giants. That's a funny thought though.

I want him to break the record.

1) He has not been suspended by MLB for their steroid policy
2) Selig and others turned a blind eye to steroid users in the late 1990's and early 2000's, and I think that Bonds and Selig deserve each other. If you want to blame anyone for steroids, blame Bud the Dud.

Choking in the metaphorical sense is not enough. It is harsh to wish choking on food against anybody even if he is as dispicable as Barry, but choking on steroids would be a nice way for him to go.

Bonds is a dork. He needs to retire allready. I get so sick of hearing about him all the time. Who cares what he is going to do or what he has done. He is a steroid using cheat that needs to be stopped. Nobody likes a cheater.

Barry Bonds is a freakin tard. I hope he chokes on all those syringes he uses. Maybe Hammerin Hank will run onto the field and beat him before he gets to the record!
