Strictly cosmetic...after the end of last season they said they wanted a 'new, exciting look,' for their team colors so how do you make fans forget a 100 loss year?...change your uniforms to put the focus on something else! Just my opinion....liked this question btw.

Purely Cosmetic, they lost 100 games last year....wouldn't you want to change it up after that.

They are hoping to forget everything about last year. Next year Tampa Bay changes their colors and team name.

They probably just wanted to change the look and coors. It's a fresh start for them. They felt the need to upgrade their image. That would be my guess.

They couldnt find any more XXXL jerseys in the old style for Randy Johnson's giant *** to fit in again so they had to make new ones.
