In the MLB which players that have been in the MLB for a few years are going to finally have breakthrough years. Players such as B.J. Upton or last years Ryan Howard. Besides B.J. Upton who will have a great year?

It is absolutely unbelievebale that nobody has named the player who could very well be the most complete player in the American League--the kid who Ozzie Guillen said is the "Best all around player in the American League"...Grady Sizemore. If one player plays the game hard, and how it use to be played and how it is suppose to be played---it is Grady Sizemore...this kid is 5 tool and all around solid---disagree? get back to be within 1-2 years--every year he just gets better.

1. Delmon Young
2. Felix Hernandez
3. Prince Fielder
4. Howie Kendrick
5. Conor Jackson
6. Lastings Milledge

Personally I think Felix will blow up this year as he worked on pitching from the stretch all off season and is in the best shape of his life. Fielder is a man child and should be the next Ryan howard from a batters perspective.

Upton is overrated and will not crack the top 20 at his position, I would target the other guys previously mentioned as they are primed to rank in the top 10-15 at their positions.

J-Far, i agree with you first 3, but craig monroe? No, when you're as old as he is and has been in the league as long as he has been showing nothing but mediocrity(with exception to last year's homer total, his BA was still .255). he's also got some creaky knees. you're not necessarily 'up and coming' when you're 30 years old either.

i'm not saying he wasn't a big part of the tigers reaching the worlds series last year, because that wouldn't be true. but he's been around too long to be 'up and coming'

so after saying that, you'd have to add ROY candidate Alex Gordon to your list in place of Craig Monroe

Luke Scott of the Houston Astros... Also, be ready for a kid they have in their minor league system by the name of Hunter Pence... the hot-hitting CF can rip the cover off the ball.

Delmon won't get very far, until he changes his attitude. He's a hot head.

I think that Sean Marshall for the cubs will have a great year.

Also, I would keep an eye out for Chip Cannon (TOR) and Kevin Frandsen (SF).

From "my" two teams

Chris Duncan - He can hit, but his defense needs to improve

Mark Teahen - He's going to be one of the best all around players in baseball.
