Fine as long as they don't play "bowl" games because he seemed to disappear during them.

The minors are loaded with hopefuls and prospects. Only a small percentage make it big in the majors. The percentages are not in his favor. However, that should not say he won't make it. He has played college ball where he competed against some great players. In the minors, there are many more great players. In the majors, they are all great players. Pitching is not about throwing the ball. It is about "pitching" and knowing how to get hitters out. Only time will tell.

i doubt he'd get called up no matter how stellar he pitched in des moines this season.. i'm from iowa and have been watching the I-Cubs for quite some time, the latest news out of des moines about him is that his fastball is hitting the lower to mid 90's which is always good. i plan on going and watchin the shark pitch a game or two this season. i'm so excited for baseball season to start

From what they say he was pretty good in college, but he is on the Cubs so if he makes the majors hopefully he won't have the same luck as Kerry Wood or Mark Prior and hopefully he won't be over used like the above mentioned duo.
