Was it business, or personal, that Teresa did not let Junior take #8 with him?

I had to watch the replay of Jeff Gordons win at Talladega about five times, to figure out how he won the race. I gotta admit, the way he took that win made everyone else look like rookies.

The late start times, if they want me to watch the race im already into the footbal game,

Make the rules as you go,

Inconsistent penalties,

these MEGA-TEAMS,

and i just cant stand it when a guy qualifies in the top 10 and he goes home something has to change,

and lets get rid of the past champion provisional, its only being used to get a sponser some tv time, not hte intended use of putting a quality driver in the feild,

dont get me wrong, i go to Dega and Atlanta every year, we camp for the weekend, but NASCAR is powdering CORPERATE AMERICAS butt, and just doesnt care about it fans!

He was mediocre as a driver and watching him in a Nascar video trying to tell us to look at the drivers not the motors when they blowup. Everything the drivers do during a race is recorded on computer. Is Ricky still in the Ice age????? Will someone please ask him if he needs a labotamy.

Years ago Rick Hendrick was missing from Nascar for quite awhile. The commentators always said it was becouse he had cancer.
The talk going around at the time was that he was actually in jail for, I think, for tax evasion.
If he did or does have cancer I am sympathetic to that as I have had a lot of that in my family recently, but if saying that was just a way to cover up where he really was, that stinks!
Please set me straight on this!
Thanks!

Nascar should take a long look at how they run things. The top 35 drivers sucks. Just look at Talladega. Look at the driver who Qualified well and didn't get a chance to race. My thoughts are Nascar should make Qualifying mean more than showing up running a Qualifying lap and knowing al;ready your in and bumping someone else who's giving it all to make a name for themselves. Nascar should give points for qualifying like they do for the race. If there are 43 cars in the race you qualify on the poll you get 43 points you qualify 43 you get 1. If you don't make the top 43 cars you go home. No top 35's, No past champions, this would to me make Nascar a more far sport. Yes I would like to see all the super stars in Nascar do well but Nascar has become all About the $$$$$$$$$$$$$ from all the sponsers. I'm a big Nascar fan but some time I just don't get Nascars view of helping the like guy or the small or1 car teams. Thanks for letting me vent some, and look forward to seeing your response.

If so,so then why so many bad comments. Are so many of you jealous ,is it because he left DEI, or is it that you are mad that he is going toHMS?
I am a Jr. fan and proud of it .I respect the decision that he made .He needed a change.
To all of you true Jr. fans I say thank you for staying true to your driver.

why else would you take on a driver who has not won in years and get rid of a young up and comming star in kyle bush who by the way is in the chase. Think about this. At the start of the year jr was the main focus on the dei team. Truex jr was just a after thought. When jr told dei he was leaving then the main focus went to truex. funny on how at that point and time truex went on a great run which brought him to the chase. So how come jr has sucked when all the main focus was on him at the start of the year but when truex was there main focus he dominated.6 blow engines jr has this year. Mostly the drivers fault

I'm asking for a honest answer. No raving please. Reason for question:
Rules of Nascar??? they all seem to be gray to me and only enforced on a whim and depending on driver
Point system??? you KNOW (alot of the time, but not always) who the champ is gonna be BEFORE the end of the season
Bush series??? That's mainly nextel drivers warming up for Sunday's race.
Chase contenders having to actually contend with every driver, even tho they not be in the chase? Only so many drivers are contending for the championship but their points are based on ALL drivers??? That's like having a playoff system where are teams get to play and hurt the actual contenders, even tho they can't play in the superbowl..
So please, I honestly want to know,,,,how is considered a sport/enjoyable/or even entertaining?

I mean Dale Jr is good but not great. He has'nt won in over a year. Missed the chase again. So why he so great. And once he joins Hendrick racing he had better win, because everybody else has. Believe me I want him to do well.

Created by illicit activities namely the moonshine industry. They only have to turn left. Safest of the racing genres, everyone is in rush hour traffic nearly the entire race, trading paint is about as scary as bumping the guy in front of you at autotopia in Disneyland with a makeshift seatbelt. You don't have to be in great shape, see Tony Stewart. You can sleep for two hours in the middle of a race wake up and not miss much. F1 is far superior to Nascar as far as racing is concerned. Prove to me Nascar is a sport I don't see it.

With all the driver complaints about not seeing out the rear window, do you think it would be smart for Nascar to use Superbird style rear wings that are about level with the roof at Talladega and Daytona? I think it would be cool to see and safer for the drivers.

Not the best, but the most famous!
On the post race show, on speed, the women commentator ask Dale Jr. if he knew that he sells 70% of all Nascar merchandise sold and that all the other drivers sell only 30% collectivly.
Those are some pretty bold figures!
I'm not a Dale Jr. fan, but I'm impressed by those numbers.
It shows that he may have the largest fan base ever!
