The late start times, if they want me to watch the race im already into the footbal game,

Make the rules as you go,

Inconsistent penalties,

these MEGA-TEAMS,

and i just cant stand it when a guy qualifies in the top 10 and he goes home something has to change,

and lets get rid of the past champion provisional, its only being used to get a sponser some tv time, not hte intended use of putting a quality driver in the feild,

dont get me wrong, i go to Dega and Atlanta every year, we camp for the weekend, but NASCAR is powdering CORPERATE AMERICAS butt, and just doesnt care about it fans!

You forgot-

Ghost yellows

Lucky Dog

COT (Crap of Tomorrow) They look like Checker Cabs.

I'm slowly losing interest. As it is, except for Talladega (this year I feel asleep), I watch the first few laps, go find something to do (thank goodness football season is hear) , the last 25-50 laps.

Yep... "Making the rules as you go". That pretty much defines NASCAR these days! And the "Chase for the Championship" is a JOKE! If only the top 12 teams are even "IN" the chase, why are there 43 cars on the track each race? How would Jeff Gordon or Jimmie Johnson feel if they lost the championship because they were "bumped" into a wreck by a rookie driver? Or even worse... Being wrecked by a guy like Michael Waltrip?!? I agree!!! NASCAR needs to CHANGE!!!

I agree, they consistently make the rules up as they go alook at all the post race inspection penalties. You cant tell me that in the middle of the race a guy knocked another driver around and ended up lowering a fender. Its crap.

I truly feel bad for all the little teams who dont make the show. Try as they may. Cause of the champs provisional or points. Come on if you run a lap time of the 44th car guess what your car sucks see you next week.

I think 3 cars per team is the max is a good idea. Give the single car owner guy a chance to make it to the big time.

What in the world has taken you this long to feel this way?
I have been pulling my hair out with there shoot from the hip rules that just make you wonder what they were taking when the dreamed them up for about 6 years now.
I am not that much into the pro football more college but I am race fan first and fast becoming anything but NASCAR type of fan.
There are so many that just accept it but I just can't
I have one more NASCAR race to watch this year and my season is done for them.
One other thing I DON'T SUPPORT THERE SPONSORS!!!!!
I think that is something everyone who is disgusted with there shenanigans as I am do.

Yeah, the race for the chase is a pain in the butt.

If they are going to single out 12 drivers for the championship, then only have those 12 drivers on the track.

Oh, wait, there IS a section for that. It's called the IROC series. Who remembers them? Ten drivers, in equally prepared cars, flat out racing for the money.

NASCAR has really gone down the tubes recently. As a fan for almost 40 years, it is disheartening to see it all come down to airtime and corporate sponsors.

Who remembers when Derrick Cope won Daytona in a basically unsponsored car (Earnhardt Sr. cut a tire on the last lap)? By the time he got to victory lane there were people literally slapping stickers on his car to get their logo on TV.

This is not the NASCAR Bill France Sr. wanted. He wanted it to be a family sport that anyone could go and watch. Now unless you want to spend a weekend and alot of $$$$, you are better off sitting at home and sleeping until the last 50 laps.

Do you still talk to your ex? If so.. stop. She is abusing her friendship with you by making you stay close to her all while she wants to push you away! You need to be independent from her and all thoughts of her. Find a new hobby and live for yourself.. not for finding a girl or trying to get back "the" girl! It may take some time butn through this process you find out a lot about yourself and perhaps even the answer to why it is SO good for you to NOT be with a person who so very obviously doesn't and never will feel the same way you do! You will know when you are ready. Besides you are 19! You have at least a few good years ahead. Stop looking and enjoy your life! Good luck.

You guys crack me up. I've been watching since the 1979 Daytona 500 and see nothing really wrong with it at all. I do agree the top 35 rule needs to change.
The COT's are growing on me and when I look at the front of the old cars I think they look like a swoopy funny car now.

I don't understand why people complain about late starts!?! What late starts?
When has a race ever started late? I've record every race on my DVR this season and the green flag always drops between 15 and 20 minutes after the broadcast comes on like clock work.
Am I missing something! I am not. I even check it every race now since so many people complain about it.
Please explain!

I'm a little ok with the late starts, but the making up rules as we go is not going to work. The penalties aren't to inconsistant. Yeah I agree with that there is no reason for some to qualifiy in the top 10 and then have to go home thats just crap. I would have to agree they just injoy the money they make off the past championn provisional. That's not intirely true they do kind of care but they do kiss that ***.

They have to powder corperate america that is where the miney is without the money there would be no nascar as we know it today. I do agree the qualifing needs to change, but nascar will always make the rules as they go, that is just nascar.
Mega teamsI also agree they suck they should hve maxed them at 3

Write letters to NASCAR.Sure it seems like a waste of time but NASCAR does reveiw these.
But nomatter how the rules are there will be a team to figure around it so goes the mega teams(most have expensive political influence with NASCAR).
WRITE-WRITE-WRITE

NASCAR has sold out to corporate America. Very soon NASCAR will be like the NBA in that normal people will not be able to attend a game due to skyrocketing costs. They'll have to win tickets or have them given to you. Money talks and the average fan loses every time.
