Motorweek on Speed: Dodge Viper with adjustable footpedals..."they pioneered the adjustable footpedal".
I don't know if Porsche was the first to do it, but back in the 70's, when the 928 came out, it had adjustable foot pedals(as well as an aircondioned glove box to keep drinks cold)...so what these guys are talking about?? Pioneered??
Racing seats...this guy is restoring a seat on a 1957 Stingray, and comes up with the assumption that since a 1957 Stingray had seats designed to keep the lower end of your @ s s from shifting around, then he looks at the camera, and say's, "the birth of the racing seat"...Right...
In the 1930's, Audi and Mercedes built 300 MPH Arrow race cars to test on the new Autobahns, the seats were built specifically to that driver in Aluminum, and then swiss chessed holes to reduce weight...about 30 years before the first vette hit the road. So much for facts...
