Brian Vickers, Dave Blaney, and Mikey Waltrip all have good records at 'Dega, and now that they are in, they should make a good showing.
Since they will start the race in qualifying trim, they will have to make adjustments in the early part of the race, and, hopefully their engines will hold up. Restricter plate races take a toll on engines, especially with the low gearing they are using this year, and, last year, the go or go homers had a 50% attrition rate due to engine failure.
Barring any such bad luck, Toyota has some excellent drivers in the race, and they could make a difference in the finishing order.

They used Race Trim since it was an impound race!!! Not Qualyfying Trim cuz the cars are impounded and they cant change the set-up so they all qualify in Race trim and start the race in Race Trim....and that is a Fact!!!! all impound races work that way!!!
I dont think they will do as well in the race though!!! they got lucky with their set-ups for the car due to the impound rule.....
They also said Chevy hasnt perfected their ristrictor plates to match the manifold set-up on the carberators.... now this was for the Trucks....soooo i hope it doesnt ring true for the cars and that is why all the chevys didnt qualify well!!!! the toyotas are also running a thinner motor oil.....sooooo lots of little reasons that could of added to the toyotas success in qualifying....but i think there is a huge difference between a qualifying run and running well for the entire race.......sooooo i guess we are gonna have to watch & see what happens!!!
GO HARVICK & RCR!!!!

If they get a chance to make some adjustments on the cars early in the race, i can see some of them doing well. Mikey has won before, and i think he is hungry for another one after the year he has had. Jacques V. might have done well in qualifying but, lets see how he does with the drafting and 42 other cars out there... I don't think he will finish well.

I thinks they will do better if they make the precise changes they need to early in the race. If they hit the correct changes on their first pit it will be an advantage as they will have time to tweak the cars with a few more pits. If they "miss" the setup early in the race then they will be struggling and the other drivers/teams will have the advantage.
You think they might have "gel" in their "intake"? Maybe we need to pull their intake manifold off and check to see...!!!
Hope Mikey does good. He needs it... Will be intersting to see where Toyota is at the end of the race. I can't help but to think Toyota will become more competitive in the future.

I hope they do well, Toyota seem to be improving and anything can happen at Talledega. Michael Waltrip said in his post qualifying interview that he'd be ok in the race. I hope so. I'd like to see them do well, with all the trouble they've had this year. Go Reutimann!

Since none of them were in the top 35 they have to get in on speed. I'm guessing they all were in qualifying trim while everybody else was in race trim. They will drop quickly with poor handling cars.

Well so far so good!!! Not sure if they were in qualifying trim or race trim but they sure did qualify good. You never really know at Dega, it doesn't really matter where you start but where you finish. I guess though its good to start up front like the Toyotas are doing. I guess time will tell!!!!
Go Jeff Burton!!!

Yes Gloria, there is no Santa Claus for the usual go-homers that rule the pack for the start, once the race gets going and all the other guys in race trim run em down, there'll be a wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.....

No, they qualified well, only because they wanted to get into the race. A couple of the Toys will blow up.

Yes they used qualifying setups.I believe by lap 20 barring an early caution they will fall back to mid pack or worse.
