He is just a down to earth guy, and he doesn't whine or piss and moan and trys to blame anyone for wrecking him.. I've met him, he is easy going, laid back, he does alot with the make a wish foundation. He loves his fans and he always makes time for them.. I love listening to him talk. Hey, I use to be from the south, I miss the smooth southern accents. Yeah he does look good in those wranglers but, he is just one cool great guy..He has had a lot of bad luck this yr, and I have not heard him have one swearing hissy fit on TV like some drivers do.. Everyone will see how great he is next year when he is at HMS...

He seems to believe in taking blame when something is his fault and giving credit where it was due. Even if i wasn't a fan, I would have had to give him credit for cast iron nerve when he wrecked on the same turn on the same track in the same race his daddy died on the year before, and STILL got back in a race car. More guts than I'd have.

I would have to say it has something to do with his father. Dale Earnhardt Sr. was an incredibly polite respectable man who obviously did a wonderful job raising his children. Sexy classy gentlemen raise gentlemen who grow up to be sexy.

He has been thru a lot in his life, and it wasn't all good. He is country folk for one thing. He was raised with manners & caring about others, not just himself. Yes, he is a millionaire but ya wouldn't know it. When ya see him, he's usually in jeans & a T shirt,or if it's a dress shirt, the tails are out. He is down to earth, honest, he truly cares about his fans. When he screws up which is human, he has the guts to admit it. That's probably why a lot of u don't like him. Honesty & truth scare a lot of people. Junior is Junior, not some pretty boy who is all about himself like a lot of the other drivers!! Junior is the sh*t!!! As far as looks---it's all about what's inside a person, not what they look like!! And he's a red head. Look out for him next season!!

Because he is just an every day guy like the rest of us he's cocky like some superstars. He's just a down to earth guy who's very good at driving 200mph on an oval or where ever.
