OK I am a die hard NHL fan, but are u kidding me??? Granted NASCAR has lost fans in the past couple years. Their TV rating are declining. But the blew by the NHL years ago in popularity. I mean come on one of the most storied Franchises in NHL history (Detroit Red Wings) hasn't been selling out. Playoffs and this years home opener. Granted NASCAR doesn't see out hardly any of there races. But just look at over-all revenue. NASCAR's TV contract blows the NHL's away and that right their says it all!!!!

Already happened, unfortunately. Now, I love NASCAR, but I love hockey more. And yet if I didn't have NHL Center Ice, I'd never see my games!

Like others have said, along time ago. Last I heard, NASCAR is knocking on the door of the top spot as of the past couple years.

NASCAR's popularity is decreasing. People are getting fed up with it and have decided to stop caring about it. When NASCAR get's their acttogether and makes some serious changesback to the way things used to be, people will return.

Nascar is second, the NHL wishes it was fourth.

I saw an NHL game on TV once. It was on a network called "Vs." or something. I can't really remember because I was watching NASCAR coverage on NBC, TNT, ESPN, Speed, ABC, ESPN2, FOX, and special events on ESPN Classic.

When the NHL goes out of business.
NASCAR packs the people, but then again Ashlee Simpson sells out her concerts so I'm not sure attendance is a great barometer.
Ask your average fan who won the Stanley Cup and who won the Winston/Nextel/This Space For Rent Cup last year and see which one they can answer.
