Nothing like trashing the old #8 Budweiser car, before moving on to a better ride. If I was Junior i'ld totally punish that car. Personally I can't wait to see him in his new ride. What a way for the number eight car to go out. That red Budweiser car almost reminds me of just another old race car. The car's already history. It would be cool to see the #8 win just one more race, just to see the burnout. It will be interesting to see what the rest of the race season writes for the history of this infamous car.

i have this months nascar illustrated, there's an artical about just this situation. Jack Roush himself has between 80, and 90 cars in his garage. they were suppose to go for the 2008 season, they were all built before nascar made the decision to go full time with the Car of Tomorrow, now none of them will see the light of day. he has to get rid of them to make room for the new COT's for next year.

what will become of the old cars when nascar goes full time next year?

please tell me it won't end up meeting the wrecking ball, and turned into a useless parking lot.

I have seen it on a car around town here. It has the #6 on it, his signature, Viagra and then says Stiff Competition. I do not want to buy one I just have to prove it exists for a $200.00 bet. Any help is much appreciated.

All the crap Gordon made about JV's first cup race being at Dega and that is was no place to start your first cup race as a rookie. If I'm not mistaken, didn't Gordon make his debut at Atlanta(the 2nd or 3rd fastest track on the circuit)?I didn't see anyone give him any static about being a rookie, and I'm sure he didn't qualify 6th like JV,or for that matter during the pace laps pull out and go to the back so he wouldn't be a factor in case or even cause a problem.JV finished 21st in his 1st race at Dega, and where did Gordon finish his frist race as a rookie? So my advise to Gordon is to shut the F**K UP, and race.

Here's the standings:
Jeff Gordon- leader
Jimmy Johnson - 9 back
Clint Bowyer - 63 back
Tony Stewart - 154 back
I don't think Bowyer can hang with the top two! He has had a good late run this year, but I don't think it will continue. If Tony has trouble this weekend he's done!
This is why I don't like the Chase format? Here we are with five races to go after this weekend and we are really only looking at two cars owned by the same team as being the most likley winner of the Championship! One of the HMS cars may have trouble ( DNF ) before the Chase is over, but I'll bet they both don't!
Gordon and / or Johnson can't wrap this thing up this weekend, but at the very least, one of them will widen the points gap!
I hope I haft to eat my words!
This race is critical for Stewart and Bowyer!
Anything can happen!
But that's the way I see it!!!

I know Earnhardt Sr was a damn good driver and it was a huge loss to NASCAR when he died, it is nice that he had a son to carry on his name. I am just wondering what you think about Dale Earnhardt Jr other than the fact that he was the son of Earnhardt Sr. Thanks

I bought this thing down in flordia when I was 13. We don't have winn dixie stores around here. I did a horrible job of storing it so the box is beat up. I'm just curious how much it might be worth. I'm sure there is a site, I'm just not familiar with this kind of thing. Thanks for the help.

What If...???You took the four and five car team's,''Roush for example.Take those team's, slowest qualifying times, and if whoever,OUTSIDE the top 35 beat's that time, their in !!!
Would something like that,be a little more fair, for the little guy??If your favorite driver wreck's during qualifying, chaulk it up as a D.N.F. or what have ya !!!

...As it is now no changes have been made to the 2008 schedule so what ideas do you have?

It Might Be Just Me But I Don't Want To See The COT Full

Time Next Year or

Do Yall Think

Nascar should do Just like this year accept just a few races run

With The COT
like a 50/50 season like From Speed Weeks In Feb - Daytona

In July

with the Old Cars and Then From Chicago land - Homestead

With the COT and then in 2009 Go Full Time COT Racing
