It would be nice, but doubt it.

Not me (or the responders above). Toyota made some progress this year, but won't be taking any individual races just yet. Your best bet in the next few races are the Chevy's. Hendrick's Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon are battling for the Cup, so their cars and crews will be firing on all cylinders. And Smoke Stewart is probably out of the Cup race now, but has nothing to lose in going for individual wins. Take those 3 drivers against the rest of the field. 3 against 40 sometimes is a sure bet.

I think the question is will Michael qualify for the next race?? He might win if the other 42 cars crash out.

He did not state HE thought Waltrip would win. He just asked if anybody thought he would win.

No, I don't see it happening. I don't think a Toyota will win a race this year. Maybe next year. I would be content see Mikey get a couple top fives this year. Bad luck seems to follow him this year. It has to be so frustrating for him.

Well he has won only 4 races in his career of about 20 years or so. I dont think he will win unless 42 other drivers blow up on lap 1 or crash their cars beyond repair on lap 1

He has never won anything other than a plate race. I don't even think he would win a Toyota only race.

Michael doesn't even think he's going to win. That is very funny.

Now I Love MW, but looking at the races this year and the way things are going for him, I doubt it will happen this year.
Next year when he has all the bugs worked out , and his drivers all lined out it could be a possibility . He has the talent and heart to get the job done.

Just have to wait and see.

I don't think he'll win a race for a while.

When Mikey just qualifies,he feel's like a winner, and I understand why. It's hard for him,but he knew going into this season,it was going to be a HUGE challenge!!!but like the ''truck-series''look for Toyoya to start throwing their BIG-
DOLLAR$ around......JGR. ''I HATE IT
But,NO,I personally don't see Michael winning this year.....
What i do forsee though, and this is just coming from the son of a G.M. assembly plant worker,[25]yrs.Lakewood,GA.When they do start to dominate, look for Toyota car's to be over-turned in the race-trac parking lot's...IT'S SCARY MAN !!!!!!!

Even if he's replacing Reuterman in the 99 Aarons dream machine for the Busch race, no.
