Rockingham became constantly suitable after Daytona. The stands have been under no circumstances finished and the climate could desire to be hit or omit. on the time Nascar became booming and made efforts to grow to be a countrywide sport. With Charlotte, Rockingham, and Darlington so on the brink of one yet another, somebody had to bypass. It does not malicious program me too lots that the Cup sequence does not bypass there, yet i will't see any reason to not carry a truck sequence race or in line with threat a countrywide journey. i think of a truck race on the Rock could be surprising.

Take any of the tracks on the current schedule that have two races per season. Take a measure of the attendance at those races over the past few years. The loser (I'm betting California) should lose their second race to bring The Rock back.

A night race at Darlington, would be a good replacement for
Rockingham.

Im from California.....i live 20 mins. from the track.... and i dont agree with the people who say eliminate Cali....And to Kevin P's answer its only the race in Sept. that isnt sold out or close to and thats cuz its soooo hot that time of year here so they can switch that race till later in the season and i gaurantee it would be packed...it is in Feb. for the race cuz its much nicer weather...and as for us only liking road courses out here that's a bunch of b.s......i hate road courses!!! Believe me there is not a LACK OF INTEREST here in Cali that is so far from the truth....if you have never been to a race at Fontana dont judge cuz its BAD A** !!!!
I hate it when people try to make an assumption and dont know what the HELL they are talking about!!! it's packed like mad especially in Feb.!!! I know .....im there every year twice a year!!!!

GO HARVICK & RCR!!!

I think your right too Kevin P. That sort of tells you what the crowd of today's NASCAR races are and why NASCAR can pull there ridiculous rules as you go and get away it.
I say lets give Darlington back there other race and let The Rock have one race for now and take it from any of the cookie cutters. I would at least take Fontana off the schedule completely. Then Kansas.

I think you mean to bring back Rockingham if so.......
California. Hands down. They never even come close to selling out. that just shows there is a lack of interest there. The fans out there like the road races, so let them go to that one.

You can eliminate California, Kansas, Pheonix, and Las VegaS. Give Rockingham two dates and Darlington a second to start with...
