I'm talking about auto racing and local tracks.
Late Models
Open Wheels
Bombers
Road Hogs
4 cylinders
other
Keep in mind some places call these classes by different names!
I personally like to watch the Late Models and 4 Cylinders!
Anybody ever heard of Jackie Boggs?

This article http://www.nascar.com/2007/news/headlines/bg/10/03/kybusch.cc.penalty/index.html states that the #5 made "unapproved intake manifold modifications to the plenum area".
....What kind of changes can a mechanic make - (porting and polishing?) - that would be considered "actions detrimental to stock car racing"? Detrimental means "Causing damage or harm; injurious". How does modifying an intake harm the sport? Isn't the point of racing seeing who can create the most horsepower for a win?
.....Or does Nascar just use this as an excuse to dig into the bigger team's pockets?

Will going full time C.O.T , ruin the speed and excitement that we see in the old stock cars?
Or
Will they make the necessary adjustments to the COT to make it just as exciting. With it being similar to a restrictor plate race or will they make it with more speed and reduce the down force of the rear wing?
Me, I love the old car and Hate the COT.. just like the changes they made to Bristol and ruined that race this fall.
Tell me what ya' all think??????

Why are all (or some) of the F1 drivers coming to Nascar??
first it was Juan(im gonna wreck your a**) Montoya, now they area talking to Helio, and Danica Kirkpatrick....
Are they just bored with F1 or are they getting better contracts to drive Stock cars????
Its a " good ole' boy sport " and it should really stay that way, promote within and bring the kids up from ARCA and the Truck series.
What do you think???

I don't really care for stock car racing of any sort, but I'm curious as to what stock car fans think of these open wheel racers coming to their series, the latest being Franchitti, and former F1 racer Scott speed. D'you welcome the competition (once they learn the car), or are you put off? No disrespect, I'm just interested in what you guys think.

Next year when Joe Gibbs is out of the top 35 in owner and driver points, how are his drivers possibly going to win a championship? You don't become champion sitting out races!!!

one driver pulls a rabbit out of a hat, the other driver says that's slight of hand, then gets on his walkie talkie and asks for a rabbit and someone runs into the screen takes the rabbit from the first driver and gives it to the second driver. Thnx

and why? I think F1 because it takes more talent to drive around a circuit rather than driving around in a oval. Buts thats just my opinion. :)

I think this is great for the whole Ganassi Racing team. I like seeing another open-wheel great jump over to challenge themselves in what I think is the greatest form of racing there is, hands down. They both have a lot of learning to do, and I hope Montoya gets his head on straight by next season if he wants to be taken seriously in CUP. Ganassi needs some solid talent behind the wheel of his cars, and now hes got it. They just need some experience under their belts now.

In the Japanese Grand Prix Takuma Sato drove off with his car ablaze, seemingly indifferent. Is that perfectly normal in F1 (given the safety standards..?) or was he just taking a big risk?
