It is now a violation to ask a question about a NASCAR driver on Y!A???? Wow, check your community guidelines because they evidently ommitted it from my guidelines. DO NOT ask a question or you too will be in violation!!!

I take it you must have had a question removed from Y/A?

I didn't see anything that would prohibit asking about a NASCAR driver. I did see that you might LIMIT what you ask about a NASCAR driver.

There is another possibility as to why you may have had a question removed. Have you said anything, or posted anything about our resident tr0ll lately? If that was the case, they usually retaliate by getting a bunch of your questions removed. Been there, been a victim of that.

The guidelines state that they mean for the Y/A to be strictly Questions and Answers only. If you spend too much time stating your opinion instead of asking a question to gain knowledge then it could be considered a rant or venting your frustrations which in turn is considered a violation. Nascar is about drivers and there would be no sense in even having a Nascar section unless I can't ask and answer questions about my favorite driver Dale Earnhardt Jr.

If you feel it was not in violation of the guidelines you can appeal it. If you feel real strong about it, then do it cuz Yahoo Answers just can't delete a question cuz 3 or more people report it. It has to be in violation or they need to leave it alone!!!!!

It takes several people reporting to remove a question so the first thing I would do is look hard at my question to see why someone would report it.

If you are positive it is not a violation, appeal the violation and you will win. The over zealous reporters then will have less say in what gets reported.

I did not know that.

I have seen that if you say something negative about a certain person that drives the Budweiser 8 car, a legitimate question or answer for that matter, it gets voted off. Jr fans are plentiful and they tend to be on the sensitive side...well that is when you talk about there driver at least...Now watch the parade of down thumbs haha!

Depends on what and how the question was asked.

Was it a real question like how many races has ____ started in or one of those is he gay type of questions?

Since I don't know the question that was removed can't really say why. If it was a real question appeal, now I want to see what it was :). Good luck.
