He wants to come back but he still has pain and limited movement. The decision is made weekly and I'm sure he will be back for at least the last few races.

He had announced his retirement earlier so I don't expect him to be back in the car. Kenny Wallace has been replacing him, but Mike has a knack for racing well at plate tracks like Talladega.

Ricky Rudd said he was retiring for good. As much as I like some of the older drivers like Bill Elliott, Dale Jarrett, Sterling Marlin, Joe Nemechek, Kyle Petty, I'd like to see them retire rather than keep being embarrassed like they have been.

I am sooo looking forward to seeing Mike Wallace in a Yates ride. I have wanted to see him with RYR since 1995 ,rather than Dale Jarrett.
GO MIKE!!!

It would really depend on how long it take for his injuries the heal. I don't think he will be back until the last few races if I had to guess. Any kind of damage to the upper part of the body will stay sore for a long time.

He will be back in the future. I think he will pull a Bill Elliott and a Mark Martin and be a fill in driver some in the next couple of years.

I don't think anybody reallly knows yet. It is up to his abilities and his Dr.'s on a weekly basis. I think he'll be back for a few races before the season is over and he retires.

Shouldn't that be Ricky "RUDDER". He is on the back of the boat at all times and usually steers into some other object or hits a buoy all by himself?

he was suppose to return this past sunday, but the pain is still there. Rudd wants to come back, but it's still too painful.

If his shoulder is better he will return, if not he is retiring without returning that is per Ricky Rudd!
